M&L for carrying out repairs to HT 11 KV four pole structure of 11 meter height Steel/ RCC poles including replacement of all perished ACSR conductor (Beaver) of Horizontal bus bar and down conductors for 4 Nos/ 02 Nos .Servicing of GOD system on structure, jumpering and binding with aluminium conductor to the post insulators/ pin insulators and providing PVC sleeves to the down conductor with colour code R, Y & B including renewal of all rusted nuts & bolts all as directed.

All as per item No. 5 herein before but for two pole structure complete all as directed.

S&F Pin type, composite silicon rubber polymeric type insulator 257mm height, 100mm dia for 11000 volts grade, 5 kN with ECR glass rod, forged steel top and bottom, silicon rubber housing and weather sheds, including one galvanized mild steel spindle, galvanized iron washer, spring and one galvanized iron nut all as specified and as directed including taking down existing unserviceable insulator. M&L for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete including dismantling existing rusted/ unserviceable cross arms.

Taking down HT 11 KV grade triple pole gang operated Air break switch from 4 pole/ 2 pole structure and S&F new gang operated Air break switch (GOD) HT 11 KV of 400 Amps rating, out door type suitable for vertical mounting, fixed type complete with 2 Nos. silicon rubber polymeric insulator per phase all as specified and as directed. Taking down HT 11 KV drop out fuses from 4 pole/ 2 pole structure and S&F New single phase drop out fuse 12 KV, 400 Amps rating with single silicon rubber polymeric insulator complete all as specified and directed. M&L in replacement of lightning arresters explusion type suitable for 11000 volts complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 KA including taking down damaged / unserviceable lightning arrestors, explusion type complete with all fittings complete all as spcified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [Make: Oblum/ BHEL/ HTGS/ Jaipuria Brothers]

Supply and erect steel tubular swaged poles Type 410 SP-55 11 meter long complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws all as specified and directed. Note : Earth work and PCC work in foundation/pole coaping will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded hard granite stone aggregate) in foundations for pole or in filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge including taking down of old PCC.

PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40 mm graded hard granite stone aggregate) in stay assembly as directed by Engineer-in-charge including taking down of old PCC.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of pole all as directed including use & waste of necessary form work all as specified and as directed including taking down old PCC.

M.&L for earthing complete with Galvanized -steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mir deep below GL) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanized earth strip 32x6mm connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanized iron or steel, provision of 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for protection of G1 earth wire and 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering arrangement and PCC (1:3:6) , type CI chamber. PCC chamber pit,RCC cover & test point (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit. (iv) All accessories required for galvanised steel plate electrode required , as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge as per SSR Part-I of 2009 including taking down of u/s earthing.

S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of GI earth strip of size 32x6mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required, fixed with necessary clamps and nuts, bolts etc. including taking out unserviceable strip all as directed.

M&L for isolating, cutting, removing the existing damaged end termination kit and S&F outdoor end termination, heat shrinkable type suitable for HT UG cable, XLPE insulated of size 3 core x 120 11KV [Earthed] grade including preparation complete all as directed. M&L for isolating, cutting, removing the existing damaged end termination and S&F indoor end termination, heat shrinkable type suitable for HT UG cable, XLPE insulated of size 3 core x 120 to 185 sq.mm, 11KV [Earthed] grade including preparation complete all as directed. [Make: M-Seal/ Super seal/Denson/ Raychem/3M]

All as per item No. 21 here-in-before but for HT UG cable of size 3 core x 95 sq.mm, 11KV [Earthed] grade.

M&L for cutting, removing the existing damaged joint and S&F straight through joint heat shrinkable type suitable for HT UG cable, XLPE insulated of size 3 core x 95sq.mm, 11KV [Earthed] grade including preparation complete all as directed. [Make: M-Seal/ Super seal/Denson/ Raychem/3M]

All as per item above here-in-above but for HT UG cable of size 3 core x 120-185 sq.mm, 11KV [Earthed] grade.

Supply, laying, testing of HT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor 11000 Volts (earthed) grade of Following sizes. (i) Continuity test, megger tests, shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge before the cable is laid. (ii) Excavation earth work will be measured and paid separately.

(a) 3 Core 95 Sqmm

M&L as in repair for steel tubing GI medium grade for cable protection, passing under road/floor or for fixing to poles/walls all as specified and directed for the following sizes :-

(a) 150 mm dia

(b) 100 mm dia

Supply and replace as in repair danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT 25x20cm size all as directed.

Opening the shutters of VCB 11 KV 630 Amps of any make and model, removing the Breaker from the existing position after disconnecting all the connections from the system, servicing, overhauling of the same, checking of the same for proper operation, spring charge, ensuring control cables are fastened tightly to the terminals, checking any abnormality with PC, VCB, cleaning the surface of the insulators, fasten the bolts, checking and correcting interrupting units, mechanism, linkages etc, fasten the hardware of control wiring, check that the split pins, circlips, dowel pins etc. have not come out and are intact, lubricate the mechanism of moving parts by Castrol all purpose grease or equivalent, check that the contact erosion is within limit including opening of the shutters properly, replacing of the trip catch, roller, holding catch, stopper, close push button, closing cum reassembling, reconnecting of the breaker for smooth functioning all as directed.

All as per Item No. 28 herein before but VCB of 400 Amps rating, 11 KV, 3 phase

Decarbonizing/ cleaning complete HT 11KV, 3 phase independent bus bar, bus bar chamber of HT panel, electrification connection complete, HT VCB switch gear arrangement incoming and outgoing installed in sub-stations after removing the complete bus bar spout, circuit spout from the bus bar chamber, cleaning with CTC and ensure proper decarbonizing, re-fixing the same after applying Becktrol (Red) solution to the spout, checking all the connections, tightening the nuts, bolts, thimbles for incoming and outgoing system complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable closing coil assembly 110V DC, S&F closing coil assembly 110V DC for VCB all as specified & directed. [Make:- Alsthom] or Euivalent.

Taking out unserviceable tripping coil assembly, S&F tripping coil 110V DC for VCB all as specified & directed. [Make:- Alsthom] or Euivalent.

M&L for servicing of Ring main unit HT 630 Amps, 11KV, 50 Hz by removing both the sources of supply power cable carefully, checking its cable ends; removing the body cover of RMU; opening its contact blade, moving and fixed contacts, repair of moving / fixed parts, the condition of contact blades and lubricate the contact blades; repair of its drive mechanism, refixing the contact blades, moving & fixed contact, refixing its body covers, refixing the RMU with both ends of cables; necessary testing and charging the RMU all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement of 11 KV Barell fuse of capacity 40 Amps complete all as directed.

M&L in replacement of 11 KV Barell fuse of capacity 60 Amps complete all as directed.

Supply and lay graded stone aggregate of 40 mm size, spread and leveled around 4 pole/ 2 pole structure/ transformer yard all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of 4 pole structure including brackets, clamps, channels and cross arms by cleaning of oils, lubricants, grease etc. complete above PCC coping and applying two coats of aluminium paint on surfaces 1m above PCC coping, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint in zebra pattern with black & yellow colour combination up to 1m height above PCC coping; writing MES No. of poles (Number size shall be 25mm and lettering shall be 40mm) complete including applying two coats of white wash on exposed concrete surfaces of coping to poles duly preparing the surfaces all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 37 herein before but for two pole structure complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls of transformer plinth and applying one coat of cement based paint all as specified.

M&L as in repair for cable route indicator made of cast aluminium disc 200mm dia, with inscription of HT cable fixed to MS angle of size 40x40x6mm, 600mm long with bolts & nuts, duly grouted in PCC 1:3:6, type C2 complete including necessary excavation and earth work all as directed including taking up existing indicators.

Supply and fix in replacement of Vacuum Interrupter Suitable for 630 A Vacum cicuit Breaker frequency 50 Hz as per site requirement all as specified & directed by Engr - in - Charge. Make Bharat Electronics/ Areva / Crompton

Cutting bushes, trees,unwanted materials and levelling the area around E/M installation such as sub stations, HT 4/2 pole structure etc. including surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out roots, jungles etc. throw away not less than 50 mtr from the site and making good all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Digital Ammeter 0 - 50 Amps CT Ratio : 50/25/5A of size 13.5cm x 13.5cm [Make: Conzerv/ L&T/ Meco/ AE/ HPL]

M&L for online centrifuging (filtration/ dehydration) of transformer oil including checking di-electric strength of oil before and after filteration for transformers located in Minniebay area with suitable machine having filteration, heating and pumping facility to improve the dielectric strength/ insulation value of oil. Notes :- (i) Di-electric strength of oil after filteration/ dehydration shall not be less than 60 KV/min. (ii) The contactor shall take shut down orders in writing from Engineer-in-charge before commencement of the work. (iii) The contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil. (iv) The di-electric strength of oil shall be tested before & after filtration and test results shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and filling new transformer oil for topping up the transformers duly filtered with filteration plant having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed. [Make : Poweroil/ Electrol/Tashol/ Servo]. Note :- (a) The transformer oil shall be type EHV confirming to IS - 335/1983. (b) Mineral oil grade shall be used. (c) The IR value of transformer oil shall not be less than 60KV/min. (d) The unit rate shall be deemed to include the cost of filtration to achieve desired di-electric strength.

Supply and fill silica gel in breathers of transformers all as specified. [Note: The silica gel shall be brought in air tight container]

M&L for spray painting with Silicon acrylic heat resistant paint of approved quality & colour to indoor/outdoor type, step up/step down transformer of 100 KVA to 400 KVA capacity, installed at different location of Minniebay Area after thoroughly scraping the existing corroded paint/rust, filling of cavities complete including writing the details such as SM/MES No. all as specified and as directed.

M&L for spray painting with Silicon acrylic heat resistant paint of approved quality & colour to indoor/outdoor type, step up/step down transformer of 500 KVA to 750 KVA capacity, installed at different location of Minniebay Area after thoroughly scraping the existing corroded paint/rust, filling of cavities complete including writing the details such as SM/MES No. all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair silica gel breather assembly transparent type with first fill of silica gel suitable for 100 KVA transformers complete including connecting with proper rubberized gasket complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replace as in repair unserviceable LV side gun metal/brass threaded studs of rating 1.1 KV, 400 Amps of suitable size and length including metal rings, bolts, washers, rubber rings, etc., complete all as specified and directed suitable for indoor/outdoor type, step up/step down transformers of any make/model.

M&L as in repair for rewinding and re-insulation of LV/ HV coils of any size and type of transformer including cleaning the burnt out insulating material, brazing and rewinding with appropriate turns and size of super enameled copper winding strip including filling insulating paper etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) The unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of varnish sleeving of insulating material, taking down the clamps, upper channels and core & HT links and re-clamping, positioning with separators, brazing etc complete. (ii) Weight of copper coil only shall be considered for payment. Note : Transfer charge from site to workshop and back will be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for disconnecting the existing HT/ LT electrical connections of defective transformer terminals and shifting the transformer of capacity 400KVA to 750 KVA from existing position to workshop for repairs and reinstalling the same after repairs in position including necessary testing after reinstalling the transformer complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Repair/ replacement of transformer parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BoQ. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for the cost of shifting of transformer to workshop and back to position.

Disconnecting and removing existing U/S HT Cable both ends and finding the fault location with help of fault locating machine 11000 v system including fixing suitable size HT cable joint rectifing the fault complete all as directed (i) Excavation earth work, Cable joint will be measured and paid separately.

Taking down old and rusted HT / LT RCC /Steel Tubular pole

Taking down old and unserviceable HT UG cable retrived from item No.25.

Material and labour for dismantling old PT from bus bar of 11KV, 3 ph, 630 A Vacuum circuit breaker and supply and fixing PT 11KV/110V / Make - Instran or equivalent suitable for 630 Amps 11KV Kirloskar Make VCB / Model - M 500 including connections of control supply etc and testing the VCB as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for dismantling unserviceable / defective insulators from HT VCBs (Make - Andrew Yule) and supply and fixing new insulators as per manufacturer size by disconnecting 11 KV supply from bus bar and VCB panel controls, removing the defective insulators and replacing in VCB bus bus chambers, supports and breaker in/out connections, checking the operation functional of breaker and its accessories including connections of control circuit and testing the VCB Make - Andrew Yule / 11 KV / 630 Amps capacity all as directed by Engineer- in-Charge

Supply and Replace space Heaters 70 watts coil element canopy type AC 230 Volt Input suitable for HT VCB panel of any make fixed inside with suitable clamps , bolts and nuts complete including necessary wiring cable connection complete all as specified and directed

Calibration of following relays, setting the relays for the fault levels as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and testing the operation of Vacuum circuit breaker after installation of relays by simulating different types of faults all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Work should be carried out by competent service engineer of Alstom/Andrew yule / Areva /Kirloskar/CG or Equivalent.

S&F in replacement of relays of Vacuum circuit breaker, and setting the relays for the fault levels as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and testing the operation of Vacuum circuit breaker after installation of relays by simulating different types of faults all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Work should be carried out by competent service engineer of Alstom / Areva /Kirloskar/CG/ Andrew yule or Equivalent.

M&L as in repair for dismantling old CT from VCB Panel Board of 11KV, 630 A Cap and supply and fixing 11KV,CT ratio 80-60/5-5A,Burden 15VA , class 1 Make - Instran or equivalent suitable for 630 Amps 11KV Kirloskar/ Areva Make VCBs including connections of control supply for metering and protecting and testing the VCB all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair HT tape roll 35mm width Appx 5 mtr length as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L as in repair for Chequred PVC mat of 1100 Volts grade of size 2.0x 0.9m and thickness 12mm with ISI marked Complete all as Specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and laying as in repair reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type I with flat, size 300mm x 180mmx 40mm.
