De-Shelling & Re-Shelling of Mills rollers (Semi Couch Type) Size 825 x 1525 mm Material should be coarse grain cast Iron having hardness 180 to 210 BHN. Confirming to IS 11201-1985 As per below given material Composition:- i) Carbon 3.2% to 3.6% ii) Magneese 1% to 1.5% iii) Silicon 1.2% to 2.2% iv) Phasphorous 0.5% Maximum. v) Sulphur 0.15% Maximum. Duly machined and grooved as per drg No. The checking of crcak/ defect of shaft has to done with Ultrasonic testing of the shaft before casting of each roller and same ultrasonic test report of the shaft has also to be sent to Palwal Sugar Mill. Note:-1. C.I material composition test report should be sent with roller. 2.Guarantee for any casting/ manufacturing defect would be one crushing season after fitted in headstock or 18months from date of receipt of roller in Palwal Mill. Supply of Mill roller consisting of complete machined shaft with shrink fitted C.I shell i.e. complete in all aspects for our mill house with following specifications:- Size of Shaft-OD-445 mm x Length-3550 mm As per Drg No. 187/93 Forged steel shaft Material= 40C8 Tensile strength, 58 kg/mm² Elongnation-16 to 33% Forged Reduction % to 1/3% Hardness 150 to 165 ΒΗΝ. Chemical Composition:- i) Carbon -0.256 to 0.35% ii) Magnessia-0.61 to 1.00% iii)Silcon -0.35 to 0.5% iv) Phosphorous 0.25% Maximum v)Sulphur -0.25% Max. Along with material test certificate and Ultrasonic test report is required. Confirming to JS 1570-1979. Specification of shrink fitted C.I Shell- OD=825 MM.
