Excavation of cable trench as per cable route plan, 1.0 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side thew track in normal soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling after cable laying. This work includes covering of cable laid to trench by loose soil for a layer 01 of 50mm thickness afer clearing of route, bushes etc. It shall be ensured that top of the cables laid is at a depth of 0.8 m or more. If it is less, then the width and depth shall be suitably increased and accordingly proportionate payment shall be made. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions, proportionate payment will be made as per procedure. Fixing of GI pipes for crossing the culverts, bridges etc. and concreting of ends with brick masonry at both ends as per the instruction of Rly engineer at site.

Laying of signalling/Power/Telecom cable of various cores/sizes in trenches.

Laying of GI pipes in on bridges/culverts/concrete drain/ mountain ridges etc. with 04 suitable GI bend shall be provided where there is turning of pipe as per instructions of the site engineer. Supply Installation & commissioning of 12 Port LIU Rack mountable with pigtails/patch cords. LIU should be provided for terminating the optic fiber cables. It shall provide 07 minimum bending radius and the splice trays shall function as a splice cover for pigtail splicing. Cable glands shall be provided for secured anchoring of incoming cables. Rubber grommets shall be provided at the cable entry point for tight sealing. The splice tray shall be made of ABS materials. LIU should be of reputed make. Splicing/Dropping/Termination of each fiber/pigtail in LIU/IO BOX/Terminal Joints 10 through fusion splicing for termination of OFC cables. The fibers terminated shall be tested and test report (hard & soft copy) shall be submitted to railways site incharge for records. each fiber shall be properly marked with necessary ferrules/tags.
