Provision for surface dressing in hard rock includes boulders for the base of pathway including excavating soil to get the sufficient gradient and slope including transportation, spreading, watering, compaction, etc., as directed by site in charge.

Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Provision for Earth work by manual means in rough excavation, banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling acclaimer with 1/2 tone roller or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing upon embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks or filling up ground depressions, lead upto 50 m and for all lift.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering 1:2:4 (1Cement: 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources: 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Providing and fixing basalt stones 150mm over cement mortar over cushion of cement mortar of particular shape and size as per existing pattern complete in Basalt stone of Mostly size 0.30 X 0.45 cm with four edges chambering, cutting straight and top surface roughly dressed and fixed in cement mortar 1:4 and observing slopes to drain out water with all lead and lift etc., complete.
