Preparation of surfaces after complete removal of old existing painting from concrete /bituminous surfaces and applying two coats of acrylic water based road marking paint over the lines, dashes, arrows letters etc. on concrete / bituminous pavement exceeding 10cm width, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old concrete surfaces by brooming down and applying one coat of cement base paint (white colour) over concrete / bituminuous surface , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint on plastered surfaces including preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls/kerb stone etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for oblitereating old painting of any description and tint with a coat of road marking paint mixed with black oxide to match with existing surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparationof old surfaces of walls/chajja/cills including brooming down or steel wire brushing scraping down smoke soot, moulds mass and efflorescent salt and trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of exterior acrylic emulsion paint (antifungal), (in camouflage pattern using number of colours), complete all as specified and directed.

Note:-For item No 1.00 to 7.00 (i) The contractor shall procure 50% quantity of water paint and oil base paint required in the work within 15 days from the date of commencment and deposit the same in the custody of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Engr-in-Charge shall maintain a record of the material brought and consumed at site in the work and purchase vouchers shall be defaced and verified by the Engr-in-Charge and same shall be submitted to GE for verification. (iii) Material shall be recorded in MB under proprietory branded material duly signed by all concerned. (iv) If contractor has not completed the work within stipulated time frame after site order given to contractor penality of Rs 1000/- per day applicable for smooth functioning of flight safety and aircraft operation. (v) All labour and supervisor must follow flight safety rule and regulation as per ATC direction during flying time work will be stopped and nothing extra shall be paid during said hours.

M&L for obtaning approved earth ( stabilized soil) from out side defence land to a distance as per requirement and bring out to site and deposited for forming embankment/ filling berms including spreading in layers not exceeding 30 centimetre thick, levelled and ramming with 8 to 10 tonne power mechanical roller including watering complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) To arrive finished quantity for payment purpose consolidation thickness shall be measured. (ii) Earth shall be free from foreign material, ie, grass, roots etc. (iii) The consolidation shall be done by heavy mechanical machinery and number of passes shall be determine at site as per direction of Assistant Garrision Engineer. (iv) The specified standard proctor density under optimum moisture conditions shall be obtained and 5% deduction for bulkage shall be made.

Contract Amount shall be derived in General Summary on serial page No 17 of tender documents.
