M&L for Checking, Inspection, maintanance and servicing complete including replacement of unserviceable spare parts of the DG set of capacity 1010 Kva (HT TYPE, OUTPUT VOLTAGE 11KV)(comprising of Engine/ Alternator/ Control panel) for smooth functioning complete all as per manufacturers instructions and all as directed by Eng - In - Charge including caliberation of the fuel injection system, servicing of the MPU, servicing of fuel injectors, cleaning of oil sump of engine, replacement of engine oil, replacement of air filters, oil filters , fuel filters, caliberation of the PCB display of the Engine. A. (a) Checking of lubricating oil condition (b) Checking engine for oil, water leakage and correcting the same (c) Checking of all the nut bolts of engine and alternator (d) Checking of all belts and adjust the tension properly (e) Cleaning of air filters (f) Checking and readjusting the valve clearance (g) Change of Oil/Fuel filters and engine oil if necessary (h) Checking of starter motor, battery and charger (i) Checking of cooling system and fuel system (j) checking of all power cables and AVR connections and mounting bolt tightnees of alternator (k) checking the function of AVR genaral checks (l) Checking of control panel meters and gadgets functiong (m) Checking of all control and safety wirings

B. (a) Checking of flexible coupling of engine and alternator (b) Cleaning of crank case ventilation pipe (c) Checking of injectors and fuel pump (d) Checking of alternator and carbon brushes. NOTE :- (1) Cost of Spare parts required will be paid and measured separately (2) Servicing/routine check up shold be carried out through authorised service centre or manufacturer and the records of the testing to be submiited to Engr-In-Charge. (3) Make of spare as recommended by GE.

All as per item above 01 but of LT TYPE DG set of capacity 630 Kva output voltage 440 Volts complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for changing /toping up of best quality of engine oil 15 W 40 VALAVOLINE premium blue HSN/SAC 27101980 type for 1010 KVA capacity DG set including removing of old burnt engine oil from DG Sets complete all as specified and as directed .

M & L for changing /toping up of best quality of engine oil 20W 40 type for 630 KVA capacity DG set including removing of old burnt engine oil from DG Sets complete all as specified and as directed .

Replacement of Oil filter element for DG set set of cap 1010 Kva as per existing Make: Cummins complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried in ground vertical to a depth not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm and 40 mm dia bore 7.5 mtr long light grade GI protection pipe for earth strip and GI watering pipe 40 mm dia medium grade from the top edge of earth plate fixed with deep cut on one end of pipe and fix from earth plate up to one feet above ground level of other end and plugged watering pipe at top with MS cap and grouted in PCC 1:2:4 of size 30 X 30 X 30 CM etc and 15 CM alternate layer of charcoal and salt around all sides of earth plate all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009. Taking down carefully old unserviceable UG cable (HT) of any size from the trenches/wall/pole and keeping aside for reuse and remove the unserviceable cable from site after affording credit depending on its serviceability state including removal of brick/PCC cable cover complete all as specified and as directed.
