App. Item Providing laying and placing in layers of all kinds filter media duly washed screened &graded in horizontal layers to complete the required thickness. i) Stone gravel 40mm – 50mm
ii) Stone Gravel size 20mm to 40mm gauge
iii) Filter Media 12mm to 20mm in 4th layer
iv) Filter Media 6mm to 12mm in 3rd layer
v) Filter Media 3mm to 6mm in 2nd layer
vi) Providing, placing & testing of quartz sand filter media duly screened, cleaned, washed, graded and sourced from Jhansi (Madhya Pradesh) only as per specification of rapid sand filter confirming to IS: 8419 (Part-I) & satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. Filter media shall consist suitably graded best quality sand with effective size 0.45m to 0.65mm and uniformity co-efficient of 1:3 to 1:7 and shall have silica contents not less than 99.8% and specific gravity between 2.55 and 2.65 as per ISI specification.
App. Item Providing and Fixing of 90mm dia PVC pipe of 6 Kg / per cm2 presser (Surya / Parkash / Jindal / Astral make of 27 x 2 x 3 Mtr. Each) in existing filter bed of size 6.7 Mtr. x 8.3 Mtr. (No. 8) at WTP – II after replacement of damaged AC pipe including rubber ring clamp tile rod, nut bolt washer making 12mm dia holes, leveling etc. complete in all respect, as per satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge.
App. Item Providing and Fixing of 100mm dia G.I. pipe 2 Nos. x 7 Mtr. Of make Jindal / Parkash C- Class including replacement old damaged pipe, cost of elbow, socket etc. for aerationof filter bed welding, jointing & screwing in filter Bed No. 8 at WTP No. 2 & fixing on C-C Tees & clamped with Nut & bolt and repairing of RCC precast slab to make Leak proof joint & testing complete in all respect, as per satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge.
