M &L for complete servicing of VCB Make : Siemens/Areva/ABB installed at 11 KV Sub Stations (Radar Sub Station, Ops Sub Station No 5 , Tropo Sub Station and MRS ) Airforce station Bihta by using required T & P including taking down old unserviceale spare parts of any nature and replace with new and making functional upto the satisfaction, working with all functions like OC, UV, EF, instant tripping on fault including testing with required instruments as per secondary injection methode complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The servicing covers the following :- (a) Through cleaning of breaker chamber (b) Lubrication of shutter mechanism/moving parts (c) Checking of shutter movement (d) Checking door interlocks with breaker (e) Checking of breaker interlocks with panel door (f) Checking of breaker rack in/out inside the panel. (g) Checking of closing and tripping coil (h) Checking of gear box operation. (j) Checking of Test/service Aux. switch operation (k) Checking of tripping mechanism operation. (l) Spring charging limit switches operation. (m) Checking healthiness of three poles. (n) Checking of damping device and setting. (o) Tightness, checking of power connection. (p) Checking of breaker ON/OFF operation manually and electrically. (q) Checking of closing timings.

(r) Checking of tripping timings. (s) Functional checking of all electrical and mechanical operation of breakers. (t) Co-ordination of relay and their testing with required testing equipment according to source incomer VCB and submit report for record. (g) Checking/replacement of non functional strip heaters inside the VCBs and allied works. Note: 1) The breaker shall be repaired through authorised dealer or representative of Original Equipment manufacturer. 2) The repair works shall be carried out by the contractor team in cunsultation/ instruction with the OEM. 3) Contractor is responsible to keep ready requisite spare parts and attend the breakdowns within 01 hours from recept of complaint fron concern JE/ Engineer in charge. 4) Spare parts required for repair of VCB shall be measured and paid under relevant items herein after ser No 02 to 48.

S & F space heater 0.5kw, 230v AC suitable for VCB alongwith suitable size of thermostat for instant tripping.

(c) Spare parts required for repair of RMU shall be measured and paid under relevant items herein after ser No 53 to 66. (d) After completion of repair work, RMU shall be connected to full load and testing to be carried out infront of AGE E/M/GE (AF) showing all functional/operational system are working satisfactorily.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded aggregate, mechanically crushed stone for mass filling in pole pit /foundation /any other means etc compete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded aggregate mechanically crushed stone for mass filling in stay pits and foundation /any other means all as specified.

Supply & fixing GI Tubing 80mm bore light grade, on poles, under floors, road crossing etc all as reqd at site complete and taking out old unsv rusted 80mm bore GI tubing complete all as specified as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground cable from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc locate the fault, rectify the defect and relaying the XLPE cable under ground PVC insulated and overall sheathed aluminum conductor heavy duty 11000 volts connecting and testing complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note :-(Excavation,earth work, brick protection sand cushioning and GI pipe etc shall be measured & paid for separately)

M&L for new earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 600x600x6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6 mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check-nuts, and washers of galvanised iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawings and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore for protection of GI strip from earth electrode to and including the earth test point of galvanised Iron/steel . supplying and laying charcoal stone aggregate) chamber and Cast iron earthing pit cover square shaped (250 X 250) mm of size not less than 7.5Kg weight as pe IS code with wire mesh, 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in drawing complete and including Taking out old unserviceable existing earthing complete all as specified and directed.
