Taking out HT XLPE/PVC insulated armoured cable alongwith all joints of any size from trenches wall/roof including taking out of brick layer and sand from trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft/loose soil for laying / taking up/ taking down of cables and getting out and levelling of bottom suface to required level complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material/ soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with dry river sand in trenches for cushioning of underground cable line including spreading, leveling, well ramming complete all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Material and Labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of pole upto ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Re-laying only old un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm obtained from excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement of old vintage XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, Galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 11 KV grade, IS 7098 marked, suitable for HT 11 KV(E) system, laid in trenches fixed to pole/ Transformer/ VCB etc of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3 core including jointing & testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation, earth work, cable protection, sand fillings, cable joint shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item No 8 above but cross sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Off load centrifuging and dehydration including filtration & cleaning of transformer oil by continuous circulation through dehyderation machine electric operated incuding testing of oil samples before and after dehyderation and filteration of oil. The dielectric strength should not less than 40 KV for one minute at 4mm gap after filteration and dehyderation complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Oil samples are to be collected from top and bottom of oil tank and test results to be submitted for each sample before and after filteration. (b) Transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid separatly under respective items. (c) The contractor have to arrange the dehyderation machine and testing kit from his own resources without any extra cost.

Supply and topping up transformer oil of dielectric strength 50 KV at 4mm gap in transformers of various cap installed in various locations complete all as specified and directed. Make of Transformer oil: Power Oil / Indian Oil / Rinkyl /Apar / Savitha. Notes: (a) New Transformer oil in the transformer will be filled only after filteration and dehydration of existing transformer. (b) Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrel with test result and test certificate.

Material and labour for factory opening of top cover by unscrewing nut, bolts & washers etc and taking out core assembly from tank by disconnecting from tap changer HT & LT side bushing stud to outside by dismantling the channel and disconnecting star delta connection of 75 KVA to 315 KVA (11KV/433 Volts) capacity. After dismantling of Transformer and physical joint inspection of core coil assembly (removing all 3 limbs HV &LV winding from Core Assembly) washing of core assembly by hot oil for removing burnt carbon and copper particles and cleaning of complete top yoke by oil, re-assemble of complete core assembly and core coil assembly, providing new coils and new tap leads of tap changer including requisite insulation material. Re-tightening of top cover fixing of HV & LV Bushing and all related connections such as tap changer connection, WTI & OTI Connection and CT connection. Filling of oil, conservator tank ready for final testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : Coil, insulation and top up of new oil shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for rewinding of HV coil with copper wire (DPC of same gauge and size), re-assembling of newly winded coil on core in position complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for re-insulation of secondary winding LV coil complete with new insulating material (Double paper covering insulation) including fixing the coil to its position complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement HT Bushing porcelain with brass rods made out of superior quality brass complete with 8 Nos of nuts, 8 Nos of washers including necessary Rubber “O” rings / oil seals and gaskets for the transformers (as per the existing) of capacity from 100 KVA to 315 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Repair/ replacement of the studs made out of brass suitable size, set of three (12/16/20mm) dia with bolts, washers, nuts, including insulators, Set of three for LT (LV) side complete all as specified and directed.

Repair/ replacement of the studs made out of brass suitable size set of three (12/16/20mm) dia with bolts, washers, nuts, including insulators, set of three for HT(HV) side complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement breather assy with vent pipe, new silica gel for indoor/ outdoor transformer capacity from 75 KVA to 315 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fill in replacement of silica gel in transformer breather complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for servicing /testing of breaker/ control panel including CT, PT and relays in control panel of VCB of capacity upto 630 Amps and rating 11 KV complete as details mentioned under:- (a) Servicing of breaker :- (i) Adjustment of mechanism if required. (ii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. The envelope of the vacuum interrupter and insulating materials shall be wiped with a clean cloth. (iii) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc.use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (iv) Check for rust and wear. (v) Check Spring Tension and putting of the Cluster Contacts. (vi) Visual check for rust and deformation. (vii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc. (viii) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any. (xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust. (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts, If required. (xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish. (xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers. (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor Contd.../-

(b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Primary Injection Test of CT / PT (ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles. (iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition. (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles (v) Closing coil resistance (vi) Tripping coil resistance. (c) Testing of following relays of control panel with Secondary Injection Kit, checking and programming of relay:- (i) Over current and earth fault relay (d) Testing of followig Aux relay (i) DC Supply supervision relay. (ii) Master trip relay Note:- (a) The above testing report will be submitted by contractor in soft and hard copy. (b) Spare will be paid and measure separately under respective items of this schedule

Testing of the cables with high voltage DC testing machine at CAD Pulgaon and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 11 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connection and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) 11 KV HT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable cover/bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra PCC cover/bricks and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (d) Penality will be charged after 02 hrs of reporting about the fault by JE/AGE/GE to the contractor @ Rs 2000/hr or if unable to attend the fault and same shall get repaired by the department from any other contractor or labour and charge incurred against it will be paid by the contractor.

Supply and fix in repairs out door type cable end termination joint heat shrinkable type for HT XLPE 11000 volt grade cable of size 3 core and connecting the cable with the load and testing for the cable of 95 sq mm 3 core size complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ.

All as per item No 22 above but for cable of 120 sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs indoor type cable end termination joint heat shrinkable type for HT XLPE 11000 volt grade cable of size 3 core and connecting the cable with the load and testing for the cable of 95 sq mm 3 core size complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ

All as per item No 24 above but for cable 120 sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix in repair cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminum conductor for cable of 95 sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ

All as per item No 26 above but for cable 120 sq mm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed.

Trimming and cutting of tree branches (not more than 50mm girth) coming across 11 KV HT over head line clearing the line around 2m single/ both sides and and disposal of branches from site exeeding 50m and not exceeding 250m from site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Length of span is approx 50 to 70 RM. (ii) Due care is to be given while trimming/cutting the tree branches that there should no damage to over head line conductor/pole. In case due to any negligence, damage is caused to be make good/renewal by the contractor from his own resources and nothing extra is admissible. (iii) All Safety to labourer must be adhered by the contractor during trimming and cutting of tree branches.

Supply and fix in repairs ACSR conductor including cut to required length and connecting the same to the HT/LT poles complete including taking down old unsv ACSR conductor complete all as specified and directed. Note: Insulator will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surfaces of steel tubular poles 9/11 Mtr long including cross arms protection pipe and painting one coat of aluminum paint ground level to top of pole and cross arms and protection pipe paint including writing poles numbers in white letter on black ground complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for preparation of surfaces and painting of transformers/panel indoor /outdoor type by spraying with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour, patch work on transformer tank body including welding for closing of cracks and leakages etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing cracked/unserviceable Pin type insulator and supply and fixing new Pin type insulator porcelain vitreous white, brown or green including one Galvanized mild steel spindle, two Galvanized washers and one Galvanized iron nuts 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing cracked/unserviceable Disc type insulator and supply and fixing new Disc type insulator porcelain vitreous 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type (white, brown or green) complete single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps suitable for ACSR conductor working pressure 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for drilling boring horizontally (Mechanical) through path/ road/ culverts for laying cable complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable burnt out jumpers conductors on HT overhead line showing RYB Phases with proper insulation and suitable sizes aluminum connector/clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick MS Sheet, vitreous enameled white letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps of size 20mm x 4mm x 80mm bolts and nuts of approved size of LT 20 X 15cm fixed on New/ existing panel board/ feeder pillar boxes including taking out deteriorated plates complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick MS Sheet, vitreous enameled white letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps of size 20mm x 4mm x 80mm bolts and nuts of approved size of HT 25 X 20cm fixed on New /existing panel board/ feeder pillar boxes including taking out deteriorated plates complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing and maintenance of Gang Operated Switch, Drop out fuse assembly triple pole, by applying white petroleum jelly, greasing the operating mechanism, drop out fuse assembly (Set of three); repairing/ replacing worn out male contact (moving blade contact), Female contact (Fixed jaw contact), post insulators (Each set), copper jumper, MS jumper carrier, arcing horn, operating pipe of GI 25mm dia 'B' class, pipe guide, locking arangement, operating lever, fixing of appropriate HT fuse element, nut bolts, etc and making the GOD functional complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix HRC fuse links HT VCB for PTs suitable for 11 KV complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and testing of CT for HT VCB 11 KV, 630 Amps 50HZ AC supply having CT Ratio 100-50/5+5A, set of three complete all as specified and directed.

Suppy and fix in replaement of old HT bus bar insulators 11 KV complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x3.15mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 M below normal ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 M below normal ground level, connected to and including copper strip 32x6 mm dia as earth lead soldered and riveted to earth plate by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers, of galvanized iron or steel with connected to test point and testing on completion including 32 mm GI pipe medium grade for earth lead protection from earth point to earth plate, including provn adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with 35 % common salt to a packed thickness of not less than 15 cm in alternate layers of charcoal and salt on all sides of earth plate with 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade GI Pipe for watering,GI check nut, funnel and wire mesh with and including all necessary excavation & earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance 50 metre, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 as in earth pit, 40 mm thick RCC cover using cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 reinforced with & including 8 mm dia mild steel TMT bar @ 100 mm c/c Both way with suitable handle for lifting arrangement & including form work and protection pipe of suitable size complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part I 2009 complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in replacement Galvanized aluminum strip 25 X 3mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & laying in replacement galvanized steel tubing 80mm bore "light grade" with all fittings in trenches/ under roads/ along pole/ wall for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured & paid separately.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning in replacement of gang operated air-break switch, triple pole off load, with drop out fuse set insulator, mounted on channels outdoor, vertical mounting type HT 11KV, 50 Hz of rating 200 Amps, ISI marked, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level with adequate lenth of GI pipe 32mm dia medium grade and locking arrangements including, complete with fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements having suitable rating in respect to load, necessary electric connections complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of HT pole 4 pole & 6 pole structure with steel tubular pole 11 meter long complete with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surface including marking of pole number with black paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for disconnecting burnt end joints or portion of cable removing the cable from loop/pole including necessary excavation & earth work relaying and reconnecting the cable by removing burnt portion of cable and preparing fresh terminals/ fixing new end joints for 95-185 Sqmm x 3 core of HT cable to pole / main switch of 11 KV complete all as specified and directed. Note:- End Joint and cable will be measured and paid separately in the respective items.

Material and labour for removing all connections, bindings etc of ACSR conductor on existing HT poles & stretching of ACSR conductor upto required sag of any size and cross section of conductor and stretching of GI wire on existing pole including making necessary connection & binding with binding wire including cutting of tree branches from both sides upto the stress on each side and if required than replacment of u/s pin/disc insulator complete all as specified and directed. Note: Pin & disc type insulator shall be paid separately under repective item.

Repairing of existing unserviceable/ broken PCC coping of LT/HT pole by breaking completely and material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1, 20mm graded stone aggregate of size 600X600X300mm including form work and plastering and two coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of transformers of capacity 75/100/200/ 250/315 KVA from 2/4pole structure or from PCC plateform with due care after disconnecting all HT/LT connections on pole mounted structures, Transportation of transformer to workshop from site of installation to workshop for repairs including loading and unloading of transformer and replacing it to site from where it was taken for repairs/ (as required by Engr in charge) and then lowering it by means of crane and remounting on 2/4pole structure after repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stone, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair explosion vent diaphragm suitable for 75 KVA to 315 KVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for attending major break downs on HT11 KV lines, UG cables including replacement of insulators/ conductors/ cross arms & laying of temporary cables etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Items used will be measured & paid seperately under relevant item of Sch A. (ii) The contractor has to attend break down immediately on short notice as & when required with T&P and transport on receipt of information on the direction of Engineer in charge. (iii) If contractor fails to attend break down, the contractor should face penalty and amount of 1% work done to be deducted from RAR.

Supply and fix in replacement spacers/clamps aluminum cast alloy (bi-metallic type) suitable for existing 11 KV ACSR conductor of type Squirrel/Weasel/Rabit complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix galvanized iron angle of size 50x50x6mm and 665mm long with GI clamp 50x6mm including welding and sutable size nuts, bolts and washer for fixing on HT pole for climbing on pole including one coat of primer and one coat of silver paint complete all as specified and directed. Note: The angle iron should be placed at distance of one mtr on HT pole.
