Removing the black topping of 30cm thickness and forming cable open trench and cable duct at road crossing 60 cm wide and 135 cm deep (clear) including cost of using machinary providing danger lights, indication arrangements wherever necessary labour, lead, lift, tools and plants etc., complete. The removed Tar blacks, RCC/PCC and other debris shall be removed from site before the start of excavaion of trench.

For Concrete/Cement Roads: Earth work excavation in all soils including slush and silt under water requiring the aid of basket and vessels and forming cable trench and cable duct at road crossing 60 cm wide and 105 cm deep (clear) including cost of signal boards, danger lights, indication arrangements wherever necessary and providing shoring and strutting arrangements wherever necessary all labour, lead, lift, tools and plants etc., complete.The excavated earth should be placed in one side of trench preferably on foot path side , not to obstruct free flow of traffic.

Using machine for a width of 60cm to a depth of 40cm

Dismantling the brickwork, PCC , RCC inside the cable trench and cable duct wherever occur of any thickness and clearing the trench/duct free from debris and without hinderence to the cable laying work including lead, lift, labour, tools & plants etc., complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing M.S barricading 1.5m height using M.S sheet 4 mm thick MS angle 50 x 50 x 8 mm base channel 100 x 50 of all materials,leads,lifts,labour,welding and erection ,transporting at site,placing in position, shifting to new location after completing works,tools & plants etc.,complete

Supply and laying 140mm dia PVC pipes, cutting and jointing the pipe,tying with 7/20SWG G.I.wireinside the pipe and closing the ends with end cap including cost of specials, labour, lead, lift, T&P etc., complete . 140mm dia PVC pipe supplied by contractoralong with laying

Laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6, using 20mm BG metal for bottom portion of trench for fixing PVC pipe in the cable duct in proper alignment and level as per std.specification including cost of all materials, labour, lead, lift etc., complete.

Transporting of 33 KV cable drums including cost of loading at stores, unloading of 33 KV cable drums each weighing approximately 7T in lorries using truck mounted crane for both loading and unloading including labour required, driver bata etc., (3 drums at a time)

Laying of 1x630 sq.mm 33KV XLPE UG cable by means of winch over rollers provided by Board. The rate includes the cost of pulling the steel wire rope from winch side to drum side providing labour as required at site for tying the cable in trefoil

Refilling with filling sand in layers well consolidated as per std. specification including cost of all materials,lead, lift etc., complete.

Supply and laying RCC cover slab (60cmx50cmx5cm) including cost of slab, stencilling and laying carefully as directed by the Engineer including cost of all materials,labour, leads, lifts, etc., complete. RCC cover slab supplied by the contractor along with laying

Refilling with excavated earth in layersand well consolidated as per std. specification including cost of all materials,lead, lift etc., complete.

Transporting and clearing the excess excavated earth and debris then and there immediately to avoid any hinderence to normal flow of traffic and public beyond a distance of 5km from the work spot as per the direction of Engineer - in - charge including loading and unloading charges etc., complete.

Transporting of empty drums loading at site and devolution of empty 33KV steel cable drum each weighing 1 to 1.5T from various work site (3drums at a time) and balance cables if any to departmental stores

Providing watch and ward (unskilled) at site as instructed by the Site - in -charge

Bailing out water from cable trench and duct while excavating and also while laying cable using 5HP diesel pump including cost of fuel, operator etc., complete.

Providing 18 gauge alumininum strip with Nylon tie at 10m intervals for engraving voltage level, size of the cable, name of the feeder including cost of all materials, labour charges, transportation charges, etc., complete. (Every 10m intervals)

Casting & placing of RCC offset slab (cable route indication slab)of size 750x750x60 mm casting in RCC 1:2:4 using 12 to 20 mm HBG metal with necessary reinforcement,piling,shuttering,curing, transport from casting yard to various locations & fixing the slab along 33KV cable route as directed by site Engineer at site with PCC 1:3:6 including cost of all materials,labour,lead,lift etc including 2 coats of flourescent painting. Drilling , reaming &pulling of 33 KV 1x630sqmm (3nos) cable after trefoiling. Using Trenchless technology method at a depth of not less than 1.50m by using directional drilling unit equipped with automated pipe handing system (Horizontal drilling machine). This includes construction of suitable size of driving pit,receiving pit and construction of RCC thrust wall/bed (if required) including earth work excavation in all type of soil. Civil works including shoring,strutting and shuttering etc placing the cable into driving pit by using contractor's machineries such as crane, generator, hand drilling machinery,comprising,jack hammer, HDD rig and other equipement's etc., grouting the annualr space and excavated hole under traffic condition in all type of soil, without intefering and causing any hindrance to the movement of trains/buses/lorries/or any other vehicle without any disturbances to the railway/road/canal formationetc including bailing/pumpimg of water whereever necessary without affecting any installation like water supply pipe line/telephone cable, electric cable etc passing nearby area and scooping the earth inside the pipes and pit and depositing the surplus earth in convenient place and levelling the site after completion of entire works as directed by TANGEDCO Engineers. The rate quoted shall include the rates for SUE survey to identify the existing utilities in the proposed bore path.
