SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames, wooden/PVC doors/steel ventilator) area not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing Solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with M.S. Square tube, suppling & fixing in opening as per specification & drawing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, suppling & fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing aluminium anodised barrel tower bolt of extruded section, 100mm long complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 100mm long powder coated mild steel butt hinges medium weight cold rolled complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing anodised aluminium handle cast type 100mm long complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note : - (i) Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C-0, using 12.5 mm graded aggregated as in back filling of chowkhats and for hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply & fixing factory made plain framed panelled shutters (two panels as approved), 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood with lock rail and panel inserts of 12mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rails and styles as per IS-1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401, including 2nd class soft wood kail beading 20mm wide tapering from 10mm to 5mm on one side and also fitted to chowkhat complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Primer shall be measured paid separately under appropriate item (painting) of BOQ.

Supply & fixing factory made glazed and skeleton shutter, 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood open rebated (two panels as approved) and prepared to receive glass, gauge etc, without sash bars, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc. Sizes of members as specified in SSR Part-I, Section 8 and fitted to chowkhats, menbers shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) The sutters shall be brought at site without primer and same shall be applying at site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Primer shall be measured paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing galvanized mild steel wire cloth 0.56mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18mm fixed with tinned tack or galvanised wire staples complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing mild steel 300mm long rat tail rod pattern spring including roller and roller plate and fixing to wooden frame with screw complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing aluminium anodised barrel tower bolt of extruded section, 200mm long complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing aluminium anodised sliding door bolts 250mm long, with hasp and staple (bolt type) and fixing clips of sheet, cast or extruded sections and fixing bolts and sliding bolts of extruded sections or cast-aluminium alloy and fixed complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing anodised aluminium handle cast type 150mm long complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing 150mm long Floor door stopper of aluminium alloy body and tongue, anodised, with hard drawn steel spring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing, factory made steel window confirming to IS 1038 with side hung shutters including projecting type hinges, with steel handle, steel peg stay, complete, dovetailed welded, with glazing bars including fixing of lugs in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including taking out old rusted broken window any type and guard bars including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast and making good disturbed area of walls and cills to match the existing surfces by bricks / plastering works and painting work etc complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality in squares not exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane (for new door/window) and fixed in any type of doors/windows/ventilators with wooden bead/pin tacked/with oil putty etc. as required or as directed including cutting of glass as per site requirement complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing, 3mm thick figured glass pin head type in squares not exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane for steel or wooden doors/wondows including fixing material complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for Preparation of new wooden or wood based surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Demolition and Digging out sunken floor filling including taking out unserviceable WC and removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply only intergral water proofing compound, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Dr Fixit/Fosroc/BASF/STP

Material and labour for sunken treatment to sunken floor, cleaning the surface by wire brush, rendering to floor and sides with 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) including mixing of WPC in mortar @ 3% of cement content, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, after that material and labour providing for applying two coats of two components one part liquide two parts powder ready to use cementitious water proofing coating on properly prepared surface by brushing having elongation of > 50% for the applying water proofing treatment as per following on horizontal and verticle surfaces of sunken floor complete all as per manufacture instructions as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (i) Applying 1st coat of two components modified polymer coating. (ii) Provn of glasses fiber mess of 2mm x 2mm immediately on alone coating (iii) Applying 2nd coat of two components modified polymer coating after 72 hrs on horizontal and verticle surfaces. NOTE:-(i) Complete treatment to be carried out by authorised applicator of water proofing manufacture. (ii) WPC for mixing in CM shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only.

Material and labour for 30mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in floor, sunken floor etc, finished rough to receive tiles, including mixing of WPC in mortar, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- WPC shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only)

Material & Labour for PCC (1:7:12) type F2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as loose filling of sunken floors complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of floor hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding but not backing including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 350mmx 250mm / 450mmX 350mm// 450mmX 300mm, 7mm to 8mm thick, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick (Av thickness) bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair, 450 mm long PVC connection 15mm size with PTMT nuts, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in repair, stop valve/angle valve cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed both end for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing in repair, cromium plated shower rose 200mm x 200mm size, with or without swivel joints, any size, including fixing to steel pipe or union complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in repair, concealed stop cock cast copper alloy, chromium plated, fancy type, long shank and cup, screwed both ends suitable for 15mm bore iron pipe complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of stop valve/stop cock shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing brass chromium plated tubular towel rail 20mm dia 'D' type, 600mm long between flanges fixed to plug , bracket with chromium plated brass screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair, soap dish MS chromium plated of with brass screw complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair, bib tap cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle with capstan head, wall flange,fancy type, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Supply and fixing in replacement drapery curtain rod 19/20mm dia, fabricated out of mild steel pipe with PVC coating (ABS), wall thickness of pipe not less than 20 guage, including fancy type brackets and pair of decorated end knobs (finials), stop roller etc, fixed to wall for doors and windows cuttings as required and fixing at site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement vitreous china wash basin, white, flat back of size 550mm x 400mm, including 32mm chromium plated waste coupling and PVC waste pipe including bracket and cutting for and pinning in end of bracket or erecting, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Pillar tap if required in replacement, shall be measured & paid separately as under appropriate item of BOQ.)

Supply & fixing in replacement 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints for drain or rain water fixed along walls with stack clamps made out of FI 50x5mm and 16mm dia round iron stay (interval of 1m) including nut bolt and PCC work, including dismantling/taking down old pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing PVC (SWR) bends (any radius) suitable for 110mm bore pipe fixed to walls or laid in floor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing in repair, gun metal, globe or gate valve (ISI marked), brass cast copper alloy, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends suitable for 20mm bore iron pipes, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of gate valve shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing in repair vitreous China squatting pan 'Orissa' pattern white of size 580mmx440mm with integral foot rests (excluding flushing cistern, flush pipe above floor and trap), including demolation of tile, PCC, taking out old WC, taking out lime concrete filling and after fixing new WC re filling lime concrete (1 lime, 2 sand or surkhi and 5 aggretate), min. 150mm thick all round and finished just below level of rim of pan to receive the floor finishing, including fixing PVC flush pipe upto finished floor level, joints of flush pipe and trap make leakproof and testing before filling concrete and including all other connected work as required upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Material and labour for cleaning of top surfaces of concrete roof slab, lime terracing, or surface of tiles with wire brush including flashing and junction of parqapets etc., and surface painting with layer of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.2 Kg per Sqm and rendering in 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6), priming the surface @ 0.30 Kg per Sqm and laying 3mm thick APP based polymer membrane of weighing not less than 3.5 kg per Sqm reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weight not less than 150 Gm per Sqm) laid on primed surfaces at by torch application with side overlap 75mm and end overlap 100mm and tucked into the chasesas a treatment for moderate condition, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for lime concrete terracing using brick aggregate and surkhi as specified in clause 11.11 and laying as specified in clause 11.27 of MES Sch Part-I (2009) minimum thickness at edge 40mm and increasing uniformly towards ridges to obtain a chain slope 1:40, the top shall be trowelled with the addition of jaggery solution and finished smooth complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for 40mm thick brick tiles laid/bedded on screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6), on existing lime concrete surfaces of roof, joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with WPC @ 3% of cement content and including flush pointing as work proceed with same material complete all as specified in clause 11.27.3 of MES Sch Part-I (2009) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only)

Material and labour for 40mm thick brick tiles (old serviceable tiles obtained from demolition/dismantled item shall be reused) laid/bedded on screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6), on existing lime concrete surfaces of roof, joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with WPC @ 3% of cement content and including flush pointing as work proceed with same material complete all as specified in clause 11.27.3 of MES Sch Part-I (2009) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other means, and preparing the surfaces smooth by applying white cement based putty to make the surface even and smooth by using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper (washable), as approved tint/colour by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls/pillars/cornices by scraping down with using mechanical sander machine (including provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, brooming and washing down and preparing the surfaces smooth and after that applying average 3mm thick layer (1.5mm thick each in two layer application) of white cement based putty (wall care putty, make Birla JK or equvilent as approved by Engineer-in-charge), after applying putty first and second coat sanding the surface as per requirement by using mechanical sander machine to make the surface even and smooth upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and after prepare the surface smooth applying two coats of oil bound distemper (washable) as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush or roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Labor for fixing of 4 Nos rawl plug of suitable size (4"-6") nuts & bolts, grouting work in RCC/Brick wall, cemented works labour charges for cutting to exisiting GI pipe line of size 15 mm dia in position for insertion of tee or branch connection jointing complete with necessary GI fittngs, plumbing work all as per site requirement.

Supply and fixing (concealed in wall or as directed) single pole and neutral sheet metal enclosure (Geyser Box) with a two pin and earth plug and socket complete with one single pole MCB of capacity 25 Amps, 240 volts, AC supply complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing stop valve/angle valve cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed both end for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing PVC connection of size 15 mm dia with PTMT nuts of length 450 mm long (hot series braded, threaded and cold series) complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing bib tap cast copper alloy, chromium plated with crutch or butterfly handle with capstan head, wall flange,fancy type, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Labor for cutting to existing GI pipe of size 25/20 mm dia in position for addition/alteration or insertion of TEE for branch connection complete with cutting, threading and jointing/fixing including GI fitting as per site requirement

Taking out old unserviceable under ground LT XLPE / PVC cable of any size from trenches /wall / roof/ road/ pipe / pole / DB including taking out of brick layer of cable protection, complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BoQ.

Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches / ducts / through pipes / in floors / under roads / hard standing / along poles and testing LT cable XLPE, PVC insulated screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armourd cable (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with aluminium conductor having cross sectional area 70 Sqmm 3.5 core, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-1-1998) complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning & GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of BoQ.

Supply and filling Local sand cushioning , with dry and clean sand, over and under the under ground cables in trenches, ducts for cable protection including consolidation, 80mm thick to the authorized width as per SSR–Part-I before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- For measurement purpose puned thickness shall be measured and paid i.e 18cm.)

Supply and laying Best quality, locally available, sub class ‘B’ bricks (Old Size) for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing/laying GI tubing, medium grade, 40 mm bore for protection of cable or earthing lead wire under hardstanding/fixed along poles/wall, laid in in trenches etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
