Restoration of damaged section of Nanadi Right Bank Embankment from Ch. 825 m to 2225 m during the flood of 2022.

Earth work in embankment by tractor trailer carriage by Mechanical means with locally available ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 25 cm thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats,removing all debries, breaking clods up to 4cm cube, dressing as per design section and compaction with three wheel static roller of 80-100 KN capacity in layers not exceeding 30 cm in thickness and core cutter soil test at every layer and every 500m distance, etc. complete as directed. For initial Lead upto 1.00 km for all lifts. For beyond initial 1 Km & up to 10.00 Km & for all lifts. Lead =2 Km

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12cm minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pegging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts etc. complete as directed

Earth work in excavation by hydraulic excavator, to proper grade and slopes as required including utilizing the spoils for filling works in the vicinity including removing roots & vegetation, dressing to design section etc. complete as directed. Ordinary Soil, For depth up to 3.00 m

Filling of geotubes (25m long and 4.3m circumference) with sand volume of 32.265 cum by using mud pump not below the fill height of 0.70m as per drawing and technical specification, binding the tube with 9mm nylon rope to jati bamboo pegs of length 2m placed 5m c/c along both sides of the tube and at both ends to keep the tube in position during filling, as specified and directed including all loading, unloading and handling charges and local carriage upto a distance of 250m, pumping slurry using mud pump from a distance upto 500m, etc. including setting up of the tube laying platform, complete as directed.
