Part.1. Strengthening and 5 years maintenance of Irumoolai Melaveli Road (R-50) @ Irumoolai- Panchayat Km 0/0-0/710.

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes ,scrubs,saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlie and disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness as per technical specification clause 201 in all etc complete.

Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blasting depositing on bank with initial lead of 10M and lift of 2M including all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring, strutting, providing coffer dams, bailing out of water as per 20A.

Picking the existing B.T surface and sectioning upto 50 mm - 100 mm thick including all labour charges including all labour charges etc,. complete.

Providing and laying 75 mm compacting thick WBM Gr.III using 1 cum of 63 mm to 11.20 mm IRC metal and 0.24 cum of Gravel for blindage 10 sqm. Of 75 mm compacted thick (the blindage material shall have PI value less than 6%) Including cost and conveyance of all material from approved quarry to worksite and stacking to departmental metric gauge for pre – measurement as directed by the departmental officers including labour charges for spreading metal and gravel hand packing to proper camber and grade line blinding with required quantity of gravel forming edge bunds watering with all leads for good water slurring rolling and consolidation by power roller and finishing as per MORT & H 404 including hire and fuel charges for power roller and water sprinkler and all other tools and plants employed there for and all other incidental charges etc., complete for top layer. complete.

Applying PRIMECOAT over WMB/ WMM surface at 7.00Kg of SS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. complete.

Applying TACK COAT over Primed WMM surface at 2.5Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. complete.

BITUMINOUS CONCRETE 25, 30/40 MM THICK USING cmp (Grade-II) Providing and laying Bituminious concrete to 25mm thick using 0.13cum of 19.00-9.50mm. 0.17cum of 9.5-2.36 and below with 50.3kgs of VG30/VG40 heating the bitumen and aggregates to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, carrying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonnes vibratory/phenumatic roller to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc.including hire charges and fuel charges foe 20-30t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks,paver finisher/9m paver finisher,vibratory/phenumatic roller and all other tools and plants required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clauses 507 of MORTH Part-5

Providing and laying of hot applied Thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sq.m area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface apllied glass beads as per IRC : 35. The finished surface to be level , uniform and free from streaks and holes etc complete as per MORT &H specification No.803.

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under MGSMT including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRCSP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost.
