SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (PAINTING WORKS)

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of concrete/ bituminous pavements by cleaning with metal wire brushes, brooms and finally dusting with a piece of cloth /rags and applying one coat of white wash on surfaces exc 10 cm width complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates for supply of material are included in the item.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces by scrapping with metal wire brush and suitable tools and clean the surface by sweeping and then using electric blower and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of any tint as in lines, dashes letter etc on concrete or bitumen surfaces/pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm in width with white/black/red/ yellow/ orange or any other approved tint etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-II (GRASS CUTTING & RELATED WORKS)

All as per Item No. 2.01 here-in-before, but the cutting of grass, shrubs, weeds, bushes and vegetation shall be carried out using a tractor-mounted, PTO-operated Rotary Mulcher Machine, complete all as specified and as directed.

Ploughing of SGA upto not less than 30 cm depth using proper machinery/T&P & its connecting tools required for ploughing including breaking of soil lumps, levellling and finishing complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- T&P, fuel and labour required for the job shall be arranged by the contractor.

M&L for supply and sowing of Doob Grass (Cynodon Dactylon) seeds on prepared ground for restoration of bald patches and surface stabilization, including removal of weeds, stones and debris, loosening of top soil to a depth of 75 mm for seed bed preparation, levelling and dressing of ground, mixing seeds with double quantity of fine sand, broadcasting/sowing seeds evenly over the prepared area @ 0.50 Kg per 100 Sqm of area, lightly raking to cover the seeds to a depth of 10–15 mm and lightly hand tapping/dressing the surface, watering as required till germination, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Seeds shall be procured in sealed packets and duly recorded in MB
