Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. earth work in all type of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work kankar,mooram singles including decomposed soft and hard rock etc. upto all heights stacking the excavated earth not more than 3 metres clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers when required into plinths and sides of foundation etc.consolidating each deposited layer by raming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth upto all leads and lifts as directed by the Engineer in charge complete in all respects

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8(1 Cement :4 Sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding the cost of form work in foundation and plinth including all carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts complete in all respects.

Providing form work with mild steel plates 3.15 mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a fair finish including centering, shuttering, strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 meters and removal of the same for insitu reinforced concrete work and plain concrete work in :-

ii)Vertical surfaces such as walls(any thickness )partition and the like including attached pillasters, buttresses plinth and string courses and like including all leads and lifts etc. complete in all respects.

Providing and laying cement concrete in M 30 design Mix aggregate 20mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in :-

20mm cement plaster in single coat on rough side of brick/stone masonry for interior plastering upto floor two level including arrises, internal rounded angles, chamfers and / or rounded angles not exceeding 80mm in girth and finished even and smooth in CM 1:3 (!cement:3Sand) i/c carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing panelled and glazed shutters for doors windows and clearestory windows including black enameled iron butt hinges with necessary screws 40mm thick 2nd class deodar wood including all leads and lifts complete in all respect.

RISING MAIN:- Laying & jointing , testing & commissioning at site in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked GI pipe confirming to relevent codes IS-1239-2004 & specification its equivalent latest with up to date ammendments of following dia wall thickness & per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code, in random lengths of 5.5 to 6.5 mtr. The pipe's ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding, including the cost of jointing with butt welding confirming to IS 816-1969 or latest as applicable with up to date ammendments (leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make & all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees, bends & other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions. and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement i/c carriage in all leads & lifts and as directed by Engineer-Incharge. The laying shall confirm to BIS 5822-1970 or latest with up to date ammendments to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-Incharge .In rising main 99% jointing shall be butt welded remaining 1 % shall be flanged suitable M. PUMPING MACHINARY:- Providing horizontal spindle casing /end suction(back pull out arrangement) single/double/multistage centrifugal pump in series /parallelof recommended make such as Mather & Platt KSB, Kirloskar , as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date amendments, read with IS-9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water for under mentioned characteristics with chrome steel impellers, priming funnels casing ring and shaft sleeves of chrome steel shaft with chrome steel casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common MS/base plate(Base plate to be from the slipring manufacturer of the pumping unit only) to 330-75 KW/450 HP squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor/motors of standard make such as Kirloskar/BHEL/Crompton/ NGEF/ GEC/Siemens of 2900 (N) RPM and suitable for operation on 11 KVA or 4 (+)/ - 10% volts, 50 cycles/second, 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor should be at least 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump in the operation range of (+)10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor should be as per IS 325-1978 with up to date amendments read with IS 900-1972. The starting current shall be limited to 4.5 to 5 time of full load current. It should include cost of bearing, nuts, bolts and painting etc. and should meet the following requirements:-.

Providing and fixing M.S. sheet steel fabricated floor mounted closed(Almirah type)switch board including angle iron post of suitable height and size ISA 40x40x6mm, duly painted ,with steel sheet of 16 gauge comprising ,capable of mounting including cost of providing & fixing in position at site.The following accessories with all internal connection including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts complete in all respects..

ACB/oil circuit breaker of Kilburn/L & T/MEI/GEC make and of suitable capacity on incoming feeder with or without initial oil filling as the case may be with neutral linked under voltage releases as per IS 2516-1985 with upto date amendments with.:

Earth leakage circuit breaker of recommended make(Kilburn/L&T/MEI/GEC)as per IS 2516-1977 with up to date amendment and of suitable range which should have control box operating handle and trip/reset bush button on/off indicators ,re-indicating off spring condition of the circuit breaker for over current protection. The circuit should be equipped with magnet thermal release with metallic tape etc. It should also be fitted with earth fault for tripping of breaker on occurrence of earth fault on off breaker load side end.

The voltage monitor relay three phase with all protection and usual indicator and electric siren against single phasing low voltage/high voltage reverse phasing, overloading and phase voltage difference as per IS 3842 (latest addition).

Providing & fixing in position double flanged cast iron sluice valve of Leader/Bhel/Kirloskar/Kilburn/GLED/Fouress /Kartar/KSB make and of 100mm dia for the suction pipe and capable of with standing the normal seat pressure and as per IS 780-1984 with upto date amendments including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts complete in all respects.The class of valve shall be C.I. PN 1.6 .

Providing & fixing in position double flanged cast steel sluice valves class ASA 300 of Leader/Bhel/Kirloskar/Kilburn/GLED/Fouress /KSB make and of 100mm dia or one size higher than delivery size of pump for the delivery line of pump and capable of with standing the normal seat pressure as mentioned at item No 14 (ii) + surge pressure as per relevent code with upto date amendment including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Providing and fixing double flanged cast steel ASA 300 reflux valves of LeaderBhel/Kirloskar/Kilburn /GLED/Fouress / KSB make and of 125 mm dia having bye pass arrangement for rising main and capable of with standing normal seat pressure as mentioned at item No 14 (ii) + surge pressureas per IS- relevant code with upto date amendmentsincluding carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Providing and fixing 100mm dia circular dial pressure gauge of fiebig/Bourden/Prega/Precision make complete with all accessories such as stop cock, copper tubing etc. as per IS 3624-1987 with up to date amendments complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing double flanged MS/G. I piping work Layout to be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge)for suction and delivery pipe, suitable to pumps offered and common header as per the rising main respectively complete with all specials such as bends, tees,reducers, increases with companion flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories as indicated in the drawing No.2 including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thickness as per IS 2712-1979 and required number of nuts and volts as per IS 1364-1983 including the cost of jointing common header with rising main . The pipes shall be as per relevant IS code and to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.14 (ii). The size of the various components to be as under : Suction pipe 125mm dia (GMS MG) Delivery pipe 100mm dia (GMS (MG) jointed with flanges of Flange table- 17 Common header 125mm dia and will extended upto 5.00 metres from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction to be jointed with rising main.
