| 1.02Note : 1. The contractor shall identified defective panels & carefully dismantle defective panels , ensuring no damage to the adjacent modules, mounting frames, cables, or electrical connections. 2. All electrical connections shall be properly disconnected and insulated to prevent any short circuits or hazards and proper tools and lifting equipment shall be used to safely detach the panels 3. The removed modules shall be stacked safely in a designated storage area as directed by engg-in-charge 4. Major Spare parts as required to make the solar Power plant as listed below shall be measured and paid seperately. 5. All spare parts required to make the solar plant functional except below shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates. | ||||||||

Each Module consist of min 250 wp, poly- crystalline silicon with positive tolerance of 3-5% & no negative tolerance is allowed,with minimum 1100 mm cable length. Module efficincy >17%, fill factor>0.7, module will be free of PID, module connector suitable for MC4/Bizlink and jucntion box with minmimum IP 67 rating. | 2.01Modules will be combined to make array & string of panels to maximize power output along with supply and installation of necessary accessories like fuses, etc The PV modules used must qualify to the latest edition of IEC PV module qualification test or equivalent BIS standards. PV modules must be tested and approved by one of the IEC authorized test centers.Module Warranty The manufacturer should provide warranty the Solar Module(s) to be free from the defects and/or failures specified below for a period not less than twenty five (25) years from the date of commissioning.All photovoltaic modules should carry a linear performance warranty from second year. | ||||||||
| 2.02The solar PV modules offered should not degrade more than 2.5% for first year and not more than 0.7% from second year of its rated power. Guranteed electrical degradation of power generated not exceeding 20% of the minimum rated power over the 25 year period and not more than 10% after ten years period of the full rated original output. Warranty against manufacturing defect, raw material, workmanship, inspection and testing procedures shall be 5 years from the date of commissioning . | ||||||||
| 2.03The PV Modules should comply following IEC:- IEC 61215/BIS 14286, IEC 61646 / Equivalent BIS , IEC 62108 / Equivalent BIS , IEC 61730(Part I & II) / Equivalent BIS , IEC 61701 / BIS 61701 , IEC 600068-2-68. | ||||||||
| 2.04NOTE: (A) To obtain 250 KWp minimum required Numbers of poly-crystalline silicon solar PV modules at standard test condition , plant performance ratio more than or equivalent to 70% & made of high transmittivity glass and glass front surface shall give high encapsulation gain. (transmittance above 90% and bending less than 0.3%) Glass with anti reflective coating, excellent performance in low light, torsion and corrosion resistant with anodized aluminum frame.Electrical parameters of 250 Wp solar PV module under STC of irradiance 1000 W/m2 , AM 1.5 Spectrum& cell temperature 25degree C will be as under AS PER EXISTING - Max Peak power Pmax :>250 Wp Current at Pmax Ipm : 8.18 A Voltage at Pmax Vpm : 30.58 Volt Short circuit current Isc : 8.70A Open circuit voltage Voc : 37.45 Volts DIMENSION :1639X982X36MM | ||||||||
| 2.05(i) Each PV module & solar cells should be manufactured indigenously i.e.Indian made & should be BIS approved & IEC certified. The bidder shall produce all the Test ertificate for each panel from manufacturer & GE shall verify certificates from the issuing agency. The contractor shall procure & install module and cells of the Indian manufacturer the department reserve the right to inspect the manufacturing facility of OEM during the process of manufacturing of cells and modules. (ii) It shall perform satisfactorily in relative humidity 85 ± 5% with temperature -10 °C to +85°C (Cell) and should withstand wind 150 Km/Hr on the surface of the panel. | ||||||||
| 2.06(iii) PV modules must be warranted for their output peak watt capacity, which shall not be less than 90% of the initial value at the end of 10 years and 80% of the initial value at the end of 25 years. (iv)The contractor shall submit the warranty to GE on non-judicial stamp paper of the appropriate value for the enforceable warranty of SPV modules. For the purpose of giving this warranty, the contractor may enter into suitable MOU with the indigenous manufacturer. GE shall verify the warranty and the date of its validity & shall convey its acceptance in writing. | ||||||||
