For Developmental Order(s): Developmental vendors in RCF Vendor Directory for End Wall Construction for LHB Coaches UVAM Item ID: 2400004 / Sub-Item ID: 2400004001). Clause 2.12 of RCF Bid Document (Ver.-14.0) or latest as read with all Corrigenda & Amendments issued before opening of tender, shall be applicable.

   Following Price Variation Clause (PVC) Formula for End Wall Construction for LHB Coaches shall be applicable as under:- P = Po + 0.60 X Po (S2-S1)/S1; wherein P = Final Basic Price to be paid to vendors Po = Contracted Basic Price S1 = WPI for "Stainless steel Coils, Strips& Sheets" as published on www.eaindustry.nic.in; as specified in Tender Document (S1 = 153.1 for the month of APRIL, 2026; which is the latest currently available WPI). S2 = WPI for "Stainless steel Coils, Strips& Sheets" as published on www.eaindustry.nic.in; for one month prior to the date of inspection. (In case of Consignee inspection; date of delivery of Stores to the Consignee will be considered as the date of inspection).

   LIQUIDATED DAMAGES : RAILWAY WILL RECOVER FROM THE CONTRACTOR AS AGREED LIQUIDATED DAMAGES AND NOT BY WAY OF PENALTY, A SUM EQUIVALENT TO 0.5% (HALF PERCENT) OF THE PRICE OF ANY STORES (INCLUDING ELEMENTS OF TAXES, DUTIES, FREIGHT ETC.) WHICH THE CONTRACTOR HAS FAILED TO DELIVER WITHIN THE PERIOD FIXED FOR DELIVERY IN THE CONTRACT OR AS EXTENDED FOR EACH WEEK OR PART OF A WEEK DURING WHICH THE DELIVERY OF SUCH STORES MAY BE IN ARREARS WHERE DELIVERY THEREOF IS ACCEPTED AFTER EXPIRY OF HE AFORESAID PERIOD, SUBJECT TO A MAXIMUM OF 10% (TEN PERCENT) OF VALUE OF DELAYED SUPPLIES AND THE SAME WILL NOT BE WAIVED OFF EXCEPT IN CASES WHERE DELAY IS ON ACCOUNT OF RCF. NOTE:-(THIS IS APPLICABLE FOR TENDERS OPENED AFTER 31-MAR- 2019).

   PACKING INSTRUCTION PI187 VER 2.0. 1. THE SUPPLIER SHALL PACK THE END WALL IN A SUITABLY DESIGNED RETURNABLE FIXTURE IN SUCH A WAY THAT END WALL SHALL NOT GET SCRATCHED. DAMAGED, TWISTED DURING TRANSPORTATION. STORAGE AND LIFTING AND TO AVOID SCRATCHES ON OUTER SURFACE. IT SHOULD BE SEPARATED BY SUITABLE ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY BLOCKS TO AVOID RUBBING OF TWO ENDWALL SURFACES . IT SHOULD HAVE STANDARD CLAMPING /FASTENING MECHANISM SO THAT IT CAN BE OPENED EASILY. IT SHOULD HAVE FIRM'S IDENTIFICATION MARK. 2.FIRST RETURNABLE FIXTURE ALONG WITH END WALL BE RETAINED BY RCF & THIS FIXTURE SHALL BE EXCHANGED IN THE SECOND LOT SUPPLY AND SO ON. AT THE END OF THE CONTACT. THE FIRM SHALL COLLECT THE REMAINING RETURNABLE PACKING FIXTURE FROM RCF. 3. THE PACKING FIXTURE/FRAME TO BE FABRICATED HAVING SUFFICIENT STRENGTH TO BEAR APPROXIMATE 2 TONNE LOAD IN STATIC AND MOVING CONDITION OF TWO COACH SETS OF END WALL. 4. THE FIXTURE /FRAME/PALLET SHOULD BE DESIGNED SO THAT THE PACKED END WALL, PREFERABLY REMAIN IN VERTICAL POSITION TO MINIMIZE SURFACE AREA. 5. IT SHOULD ALSO BE SUITABLE FOR STORAGE OF END WALL UNDER OPEN SKY.
