Materials and Labour for earthing with galvanised earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less rhan 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth plate surrounded by alternative layer of charcoal dust and salt with thickness of 150 mm to a packed thickness of 150 mm on all sides with and including necessary excavation earth work returing filling in and removal of surplus soil upto 50 m including galvanised iron Strip 25x4 mm bolted and reverted to earth plate at one end and connected to continuous GI strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI light grade protection pipe, 20 mm dia medium grade watering pipe with all fittings from top edge of earth plate upto 2400 mm above ground level fixed and including 25x 3 mm GI clamp bolts nuts and washer, funnel, wiremesh, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 earthing pit, 75 mm thick RCC cover slab reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar 100 c/c both ways as shown in electrical plate No. 2 of SSR Part I including taking out old unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. (ii) Testing to be carried out by the contractor, entered in the eath testing register, prepared and to be maintained by the contractor & submited to department. (iii) T&P and testing instrument(Earth tester) to be provided by the contractor at own cost. (iv) Quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of GI Strip upto a distance of 7.5 metres from the earth plate. Strip required beyond the length shall be measured and paid separately

Materials and Labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5M below normal ground level connected to galvanized steel earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized steel and connected to main switch board, main control board or earth test point as directed and including provision of concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 45 cm x 45 cm x 5 cm reinforced 8 mm dia. TMT bars @ 100 center to center both ways, with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia. MS bar, provision of funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized steel tubing (Medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers, 15 mm bore galvanized steel tubing light grade for protection of earth lead connection, necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including provision of necessary test point and testing as shown in Figure 15A of IS 3043: 1987 including taking down/demolition of existing unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. (ii) Testing to be carried out by the contractor, entered in the eath testing register, prepared and to be maintained by the contractor & submited to department. M & L for Chemical copper bonded electrode pipe earthing complete set consist of 40 mm dia ISI marked GI Pipe 2.0 m long with copper strip 25x3 mm encased in and inner space of pipe is filled with highly conductive corrosion resistant chemicals completely sealed, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) filling chemical ground enrichment material minimum 25 kg surrounding pipe and mixed properly with water, connected to earth test point including 40 mm dia GI light grade pipe for protection of earth strip and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge including necessary excavation earth work returing filling in and removal of surplus soil upto 50 mtr including Copper strip 25x3 mm bolted and reverted to copper bonded elctrode pipe at one end and connected to continuous copper strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI light grade protection pipe, including 25x 3 mm GI clamp bolts nuts and washer, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 earthing pit, 75 mm thick RCC cover slab reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar 100 c/c both ways completeall as specified and as shown in electrical plate No. 2 of SSR Part I including testing on completion taking out old unserviceable earthing complete. Materials and Labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 20x3 copper strip using porcelain cleat/post insulators including taking out old u/s copper strip, complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25x4 galvanised iron strip using porcelain cleat/post insulators including taking out old u/s galvanised iron strip, complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 32x6 galvanised iron strip using porcelain cleat/post insulators including taking out old u/s galvanised iron strip, complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25 x 3 mm alumunium strip using porcelain cleat/post insulators, complete including taking out old u/s alumunium strip, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair's GI tube 40 mm bore, light grade with all fittings laid in trenches or fixed to wall and removal from site, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Fix in repair's test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze, size 75 X 75 X 25 mm , drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. of 8 mm dia. 25 mm long hexagonal head screws including MS box 2 mm thick of suitable size for protection of test point terminal , complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair's Air termination, single pointed, aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long fixed on aluminium strip for earth conductivity to ground, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Checking earth resistance value of existing all type of earthing ( in restricted and unrestricted area) from each earth test point and making data sheet as per direction of Engr-in charge Note: Earth resistance tester and other arrangement for testing are included in the cost of above job).

Supply and fix in repair's High density polythelene pipes (HDPE) 40mm dia for insulation of earth strip from building at entry points , complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair's white porcelain ceramic insulator with nut, bolt and washers for fixing earthing strip on wall/ceiling/roof ,complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour of painting of GI strip any size, with alluminium paints, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix FRP earth pit cover heavy duty of minimum size 13 inch for Earthing chamber, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
