Sub-Head : Earth Work

Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

All kinds of soil

Sub-Head : Concrete Work

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

(a) 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand(zone-III) : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Sub-Head : Reinforced Cement Concrete

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

(a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights:

(a) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

(a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more.

Sub-Head : Brick Work

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 5.00 in foundation and plinth in:

(a) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 5.00 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level.

(a) Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand)

Sub-Head : Steel Work

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

(a) In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

Providing and fixing 1mm thick M.S. sheet door with frame of 40x40x6 mm angle iron and 3 mm M.S. gusset plates at the junctions and corners, all necessary fittings complete, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.

(a) Using flats 30x6mm for diagonal braces and central cross piece

Providing and fixing T-iron frames for doors, windows and ventilators of mild steel Tee-sections, joints mitred and welded, including fixing of necessary butt hinges and screws and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.

Fixing with 15x3 mm lugs 10 cm long embedded in cement concrete block 15x10x10 cm of C.C. 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Sub-Head : Finishing

15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

(a) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

(a) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

(a) Two or more coats on new work

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

(a) New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready made) having VOC content less than 50 gm per ltr. of approved manufacturer and of required shade and colour complete. as per manufacturer's specification.
