Repair and replacement of burnt panel aluminium bus bar of capacity 200 to 400 Amps taking out burnt aluminium bus bar and fixing with new bus bar minimum 05 mtrs with necessary fitting and fixtures , addition, alteration of existing panel complete ass as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Opening of nut and bolt for the pump and Taking out pipe / unserviceable/rusted foot valve and replacement with new foot valve, 100 mm size PN-1.6 pressure rating including all joints with rubber or fibre board, bolts, nuts washers, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Routine maint of centrifugal pump / NRV / sluice valve/Non return valve by attending fault testing of system regularly basis to insure serviceability and checking of system , including replacement of unseriviceable component including preventive maintinance spares by replacing minor parts i.e galand packing nut and bolts complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- If the contractor will not attend the complaints by his trades man in any working day , the necessary reovery of Rs. 500/- per day shall be imposed complaint not attended within 24 hrs and checking of non ops pumps /valve /foot valve each location in routine wise per day by trades men.

Taking down old unserviceable pressure gauge with the help of gas cutter/ monkey packed and in replacement new Pressure gauge 100 mm dia with ball valve of pressure 25 Kg/Sqcm directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taning out unserviceable submersible pump from the bore well and supply and fixing 3 HP submersible pump 3 phase 420 Volt all as per directed by Engr- in-Charge .

Disconnect the electric connections form starter and taking out burnt submersible starter from the existing position. Supply and fixing new water sensor, starter 3 phase of 10HP , 440 Volt , front side openable and locking arrangement all as per directed by Engr- in-Charge .

Manning and operation of water supply installation consisting of electrically operated pump sets of different capcity including firefighting pumpsets at vishakha.Vadadana,Vatsala pump, Foma house house ( for fresh water) including sunday and public holiday by one valve man in each shift and one FGM in each shift for all installations and maintanence of log book , taking care of pumps / valves/overflow of tanks and other minor repairs and leakages daily in three shifts from 1200 hrs to 2000 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs (02 shifts ) = 04 persons including sunday/holiday all as specified and directed.

Notes for Item Nos 179 to 182: The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the following :- (i) The shift time shall be first shift 0600hrs to 1400hrs, second shift 1400hrs to 2200hrs & third shift 2200hrs to 0600hrs.. (ii) The contractor has to apply for entry pass, for the labours to be employed against the work, from Naval Police with valid documents and shall submit Police verification of labours after receipt of work order through GE (iii) Operator must be skilled & must have knowledge of operation & maintenance of Pump Sets, DG Sets, Panel and controlling valves etc. (iv) Valve Man must be semi skilled & must have knowledge of controlling valves etc. (v) Consumable stores such as cotton waste, Grease including tools required shall be provided by the contractor. (vi) Operator must ensure cleanliness of Pump Sets/DG Sets/Panels and Pump house bldg. (vii) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of Life insurance for the tradesmen employed by him in case of untoward incident such as injuries, fracture or casualty while on duty. (viii) Carrying out minor repairs viz. replacing blown out fuses, recharging MCCBs, priming of pumps, repair to pipe lines as directed. (ix) Checking of leakage /water level in the radiator,checking of leakage of oil from the engine ,compressor etc, shall be carried out by the operator.

(x) Inform the JE/AGE E&M in charge of any electric faults, water supply failure, Diesel requirement for Gen Sets and any other mishappenings. (xi) Any Major repair of Machineries, replacement of batteries and filing of Diesel for Gen Set will be carried out by the MES. (xii) Any other work, not specifically mentioned above, but ordered by the Engineer-in-Charge for the smooth functioning of Pump House for supply of water will have to be carried out without any extra cost. Rates quoted shall be deemed to be included accordingly (xiii) Rate quoted shall be inclusive for Relief Staff to the persons employed in shifts. (xiv) After issue of work order, contractor has to submit the list of employees including reserve alongwith relevant documents as mentioned is PS to the Engineer-in-Charge. (xv) Payment to employees shall be done by crossed cheque through Aadhaar linked bank account only and it shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per act in vogue. The contractor shall submit proof to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming any payment. (xiv) Contractor has to submit proof of payment of EPF subscription made by him alongwith RAR failing which RAR will not be progressed for payment. (xvi) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all latest labour laws / regulations including all relevant taxes as applicable. (xvii) Contractor shall quote the rates considering their monthly leaves, releiver etc as per labour laws and nothing extra shall be paid on account of the above. In case of absence of staff/tradesman from duty, payment of that shift will not be paid. In addition to that a penalty of Rs 700/- per shift per person will be recovered from contractors dues. Also in case of long absence (more than one week) of staff/tradesman, the penalty shall be recovered including Sundays & Holidays if any. The contractor shall have no claim on this account.

(xviii) Contractor has to supply three sets of Tools and Plants to the labours employed by him and should be placed with the safe custody of department. Rates quoted shall be deemed to be included the above provision. (xix) In case any variation in manpower as indicated in Column No 4 of BOQ due to any reasons / or any manpower held in Department or any policy change contractor should have no claim on that account. The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority. If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost of work mentioned in BOQ item Nos 179 to 182 ie Rs 2752321.00, the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (Cover No 2). The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost Rs 2752321.00 and amount quoted by lowest bidder. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to withhold the said amount which will be verified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withhold shall be final and binding. The withhold amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall sumbit 03 Nos of FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The FDRs validity shall be 04 months, 08 month & 12 months respectively for the purpose of encashment/ release as the case may be
