SCHEDULE 'A'

Excavation in trenches, n.exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 1.00 here-in-before but exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in approved earth, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old U/S underground LT cable of any size, any position from trenches, floors and walls, all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, Testing and commissioning XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, 1100 Volt grade with fixing acessories of 50 Sqmm, 3.5 Core all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 6.00 here-in-before but for size of cable 25 sqmm, 3.5 core all as specified and directed.

M&L sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG cables (below, above and around the cable laid in trenches) of 230mm spreding thickness and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & laying in trenches GI pipe 50 mm bore light grade for protection of U/G cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Laying Sub Class 'B' Bricks,old size, well burnt, laid breadth wise along the length of cable laid in trenches over sand cushion for UG cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of LT over head ACSR conductor of any size including separating, serviceable conductor and kept in safe custody for re-use in the work and removing unserviceable conductor for site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) on over head LT electric line with stretching and tensioning the same with required span sag and binding the conductor with pin/shackle insulator and jumpers with aluminum binding wire not less than 2mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Stretching / restringing only ACSR conductor in position on LT over head lines of any size, type, span length with permisiable span sag and binding with pin/shackle insulator with new aluminum binding wire not less than 2mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of cross arms fixed on Steel tubular poles carefully including separating and getting aside, serviceable cross arms for re-use in the work and removing unserviceable cross arms from site complete all as specified directed.

Supply & fixing cross arms made out of mild steel channel or angle section of reqd size and shape including clamp back plate with bolts, nuts and washers drilled for insulator bolts welding bending cold or hot in any shape or size as directed and painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Fixing only old serviceable cross arms obtained from Sch `A’ ser Item No 17.00 here-in-before with providing new bolts, nuts and washers as required including painting with one coat of aluminium paint after preparation of old surface complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable bending/broken tubular pole of any size with necessary disconnection of electric wire, demolition of concrete foundation including excavation and earth work as required and removing the same from site and including earth work complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Dismantling of cross arms and insulators fixed with pole shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Sch 'A'/BoQ)

Supply and errection of steel tubular swaged poles 9.0 metre long, type 410 SP-31 complete with cast iron base plate, final taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws, pole cap etc confirming to IS-2713 of 1980 including painting two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer after necessary preparation of surfaces and numbering to be done in black synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 with using 40 mm grade crushed stone aggregate as in beding of steel tubular poles (15 mm thick) with necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 with using 40 mm grade crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, copping of steel tubular poles and stay with necessary form work as required complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable stay assembly including stay wire complete with necessary demolition of concrete excavation and earth work as required and removing the same from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing stay assembly complete with all accessories and stay clamps all as shown in electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part I with using stay rod of 20mm dia complete all as specified and directed. (Note ;- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Sch 'A'/BoQ))

Dismantling of LT insulators of any type and size from position including separating and getting aside serviceable insulator for re-use in the work from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing pin type insulator porcelain vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle two galvanized iron washer and one galvanized iron nut 100mm height 6.5mm dia for 1100 volts grade complete all directed. (Make: Jaipuria/Pactil/BHEL)

Supply and fixing shackle type porcelain vitreous white, brown or green insulator of size 75mm height, 90mm dia (maximum) including mild steel straps of section 31mm x 3mm, washers, 12mm dia insulator bolt and nut suitable for working pressure 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed. Cutting and trimming of tree branches, bushes n.exc 5 Mtr girth all along LT overhead lines/guard wire and removing branches out of defence land complete all as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron earth lead wire 4.00 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, checknuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, GI earth wire protected by 15mm bore light grade GI pipe and other end connected to earthing test point or main switch board as directed including funnel with watering pipe of 20mm bore light grade GI, wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm compacted thickness all around the earth electrode PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earth pit, cast iron cover and frame, including necessary excavation and earth work and necessary testing complete all as specified and directed and shown on electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old rusted steel surface of LT steel tubular swaged pole (of any length upto 9 mtr) and applying one coat of black synthetic enamel paint upto 1.2 mtr height as per the existing pattern above the PCC coping and one coat of aluminium paint beyond 1.2 mtr height (for the rest portion) including cross arms brackets and re-writing pole numbers and and cutting vegetation growth all around and on height poles upto 1 mtr on the pole upto 1 mtr radius complete including replacement of self adhesive fluorescent colour tape as per existing pattern and size all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of surfaces by scrapping of PCC poles of any length and applying two coats of weather coat paint black in colour upto 1.2 mtr heigth as per the existing pattern above the PCC coping and applying two coats of weather coat paint crimson colour includng applying alluminium paint to cross arms brackets and re-writing pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all around and on the poles upto 1 mtr radius complete including replacement of self adhesive florescent copor tape as per existing pattern and size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 1100 votls grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated stranded aluminum conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed for service connection suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 mtr apart including 4mm dia suspension wire one twin core cable flat or circular all complete including taking out unserviceable one of size 4 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

All items as per Ser No 51.00 here-in-before but 6 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for lowering of high mast carriage carefully from 20 mtr high structure for repairing light luminaries and raising latern carriage after repairing the light luminarises and adjust to its proper postion serving to winch mechanism pulleys steel wire ropes end terminal of SWR and greasing drain gearbox oil and toping up complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Defective parts shall be measured and paid supply only under respective items of sch 'A'/BoQ. (ii) Detecting the fault of line system of high Mast by providing skilled tradesman and helper with necessary safty tools and rectify the defects on top priority basis including testing.
