PROVISION OF 1010 KVA DIESEL GENERATOR SET TO ADVANCED MAGNETICS GROUP AMG BUILDING NO 124 OF DMRL UNDER GE I KANCHANBAGH HYDERABAD

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of silent type Diesel Engine driven Generating set of capacity 1010 KVA/ 808 KW complete with fully wired AC Alternator to give an output of 1010 KVA continuously rating at a 0.8 power factor lagging, 3 phase, 4 wire, 415 volts, 50Hz, 1500 RPM directly coupled with Diesel Engine water cooled type mounted on common base frame complete with Acoustic Enclosure (Canopy) with latest CPCB norms including control panel, AMF panel and control cable, Batteries, Fuel line & accessories, Fuel tank, Exhaust pipe as per CPCB guide lines, PCC foundation, anti vibration pads etc and other standard accessories all as conforming to IS 4722/1460, BS 5514/2613/5000, ISO 8526/3046 and as amended upto date and all as specified and directed and comprising of the following: -

(a) Alternator : Standard design alternator capacity of 1010 KVA/ 808 KW net output at site Hyderabad after considering derating factor, 3 Phase, 4 wire, 415 Volts, 50 HZ, 1500 RPM, Power factor 0.8(lagging), Current 1406 Amps, Automatic Voltage Regulator, self excited, self regulated brushless alternator screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure, insulating class 'H', self ventilated solid state and voltage regulation at no load to full load as per OEM. The alternator shall be directly coupled with diesel engine through flexible coupling and suitable for tropical climate and shall conform to BS-2613/5000/IS-4722 and as amended up to date.

(b) Diesel Engine : Water cooled Diesel Engine suitable for 1010 KVA, 12-Cylinder, 4-stroke rated at 1500 RPM Minimum,1180 BHP, TurboCharged, directly coupled with alternator through flexible coupling, direct injection, cold starting conforming to ISO 3046/BS-5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continuous operation and shall be provided with electrical stating arrangements including standard accessories/ components and comprising of following : -

(i) Radiator cooled with charged air cooler. (ii) Mechanical FIP. (iii) Corrosion in-hibitor coolant. (iv) Paper element filters for fuel, lube oil, Bypass, plate type lube oil cooler. (v) Flywheel housing and flywheel. (vi) Turbo Charger, pulse tuned exhaused manifold, stainless steel (vii) Flexible coupling. (viii) Dry type replaceable paper element air cleaners. (ix) Residential silencers. (x) Stainless steel exhaust flexible bellows. (xi) Motor driven priming pump. (xii) Starter Motor - Electric battery charging alternator. (xiii) Battery charging indicator. (xiv) Electronic governor. (xv) First fill lube oil, coolant and diesel during commissioning and 12 hours testing.

(xvi) Engine control panel with all accessories and component displaying the parameters such as battery, voltage, charging rate, water temperature, lubricating oil pressure, engine speed, engine hours run, balance of fuel indicator. (xvii) Safety control (trip and indication for high water temperature, low lube oil pressure, low and high speed trip. (xviii) Common base frame for engine and alternator made out of structural steel channel/ beams duly painted as per manufacturer's (OEM) instructions. (xix) Battery :- Two Nos maintenance free of 12 volts, 180Ah capacity including copper leads of suitable size and adequate length. Note :- Exhaust pipe made out of heavy duty mild steel pipe 'C' class of length 3.5 metres above the building height (height of the building + 3.5 metre) or as per recommendations of OEM to meet CPCB norms inclusive of all accessories and hardware, neccessary support steel structure stack including mineral wool insulation 2 inch thick to withstand for 400 degree celcius temperature cladded with aluminium sheet for the entire lenght of exhaust pipe.

(c) Acoustic Enclosure : Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet metal will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is customed to suit conditions, with the following features :- (i) Custom built product for various equipments, to ensure the optimum performance without duration. (ii) 16SWG (1.6mm) thick CRCA sheet to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets. (iii) Sheet metal component of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting to have better life of the enclosure against weathering action.

(iv) Special paint treatment with pure polyster powder/epoxy shall be provided for better weather resistance. (v) Well designed ventilation system shall be provided to put out the heat from the chamber efficiently. (vi) For effective acoustic/weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets shall be used. (vii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance/repairs. (viii) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorported in the enclosure as per the requirement. (ix) See through transparent window(glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the operation. (x) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinge, fasters etc to be provided. (xi) Deliverables 75DB @ 1 meter at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be with in limit and as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp. (xii) The enclsoure shall be provided with bulk head light fitting for inside illumination. (xiii) The exhaust pipe along with proper aluminium cladding, shall be laid to a height of above the roof level. The rates for the same are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (xiv) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure inside the DG set on a suitable insulated platform. (xv) The DG set should be provided with external emergency stop push button. (xvi) Provn of 2 Nos 11 watts LED lamp fitting of approved make including wiring inside canopy with single switch controlled. (xvii) Fuel gauge to be provided with the neck of fuel tank. (xviii) Tools as per manufacturer with the box. (xix) Invents of suitable company be manufacture. (xx) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process.

(xvi) Provn of 2 Nos 11 watts LED lamp fitting of approved make including wiring inside canopy with single switch controlled. (xvii) Fuel gauge to be provided with the neck of fuel tank. (xviii) Tools as per manufacturer with the box. (xix) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. (d) AMF Panel : Auto Mains failure (AMF) panel board suitable for 1010 KVA DG Set, outdoor type CPRI approved factory fabricated made out 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet, free standing, floor mounted cubical type dust and vermin proof, ventilated, weather proof duly powder coated with siemens grey paint, IP 54 class protection, totally enclosed conforming to IS 8623 and as amended up to date, double door with locking arrangement provided with removable hinged front and rear doors for easy accessability, internally prewired, copper busbars of suitable rating including electrical and electronic components / accessories and comprising of followings :- (i) Air Circuit Breaker 2000 Amps of rupturing capacity 65 KA, 4 Pole, 415Volts, 50 Hz, microprocessor based manually drawout type of qty - 02 Nos for main supply and DG supply with HRC back up fuses. (ii) 3 Pole Power contactor of suitable rating - 02 Nos. (iii) Auto mains failure relay to act on main supply to start the DG set and to stop the DG set on restoring the main supply working in dual mode including line voltage monitor as per OEM specifications.

(e) Fuel Tank : Capacity 990 Litres with inlet and outlet connections fuel level indicator drain plug and air vent etc and as per OEM specifications. (f) Civil Work : All civil works including RCC/PCC platform related to foundations for commissioning of DG Set shall be as per recommendation of manufacturer. Note :- (a) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load including Diesel, Coolant, Lube oil etc for 12 hrs testing at site or deemed to be included in rate quoted by the contractor. (b) The contractor shall submit detailed specifiation, Model No, Make, technical litrature and foundation drawing of DG Set for approval of accepting officer. (c) The contractor shall submit AMF Panel drawing with dimensions and arrangement of switch gears, metering devices and make and model of switch gears/ contactor for approval of accepting officer before placing the procurement order.

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of LT outdoor bus duct sandwitch type of capacity 1600 Amps, 50 KA for 1 sec suitable for use on 3 phase 4 wire 415 volts, 50Hz A.C. supply with metal clad enclosure having IP-65 as per IEC 529 fixing with tap off boxes and all accessories, made of 1.6mm thick steel sheet duly powder coated in convenient sections complete with 4 Nos aluminium bus bars having current density of 130 A/ sq cm at nominal current rating, necessary joints, elbow joints & expansion joints and bends, fire barrier at each floor, provision of tapping at every metre, adopter box and copper flexible for joints, continuous earthing with 2 Nos aluminium strip of suitable size (one on each side) including, G.I. clamping,brackets, suspenders, angle iron bracket, steel fasteners,connecting to earthing system etc including connection to the new bus duct with the existing LT panel located at workshop area with the help of adaptor box of capacity matching with the bus duct. The cost of the connecting adaptor will deemed to be included in the quoted rate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600mmx 600mm x 6mm, buried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to and including GI strip 32x6 mm protected with GI light grade pipe 40mm dia for earth electrode upto test point or upto 7.5 mtr whichever is less by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers connected to equipment including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit , RCC cover, 50mm thick with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 100cm c/c both way , 20mm bore medium grade watering pipe, water funnel, 40mm bore GI light grade protection pipe, common salt, charcoal dust, returning filling of soil, removal of soil to a distance of not exceeding of 50 mtr etc, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.
