Coagulant dose shall be 50 mg/lit during monsoon, 20 mg/lit during winter & 5 mg/lit during summer. (c) Polymer Dosing System - Electronic metering pump of capacity 0-25 LPH head with control mains, starter, control wiring, dosing & preparation tank each of 200 lit, HDPE complete with mounting stand & agitator for preparation tank. Polymer solution shall be dosed by means of electronic diaphragm type dosing pump for flocculation. It shall have detention time of 30 sec.

(Item 29.00 Contd..../-) (d) Disinfection dosing system - Electronic metering pump of capacity 0-5 LPH head with control mains , starter, control wiring, with 200 litre HDPE static tank (e) Static mixer – 01 No (SS304) (f) Flocculation tank (3850mm L x 2000mm W x 1500mm H) for 25 Cum/ Hr suitable water treatment plant with two Nos floccurlation flat paddle type, 20 RPM, retention time should not be less than 30 min made up of MS with FRP coating internally & externally epoxy painted of MSEP shall be installed above ground level, inlet flow shall be divided & allowed to enter the lower part of each sedimentation cell from its two opposite sides, influent water shall flow upwards towards the plate type clarifier, deposited precipitate shall slide or roll down the incline & deposited in hopper at the bottom of the separator. near top of each plate, water shall leave each cell through a pair of circulator openings in the adjustable weir plate located along each side of separator tank, the weir plate shall be set horizontally to provide a design water level below top of tank. (g) Lamella clarifier (2640mm L x 2000mm W x 1500mm H) shall have retention time should not be less than 30 min, it shall also be installed above ground level, the tank shall be made up of MS with FRP coating internally & externally epoxy paint of MSEP, it shall be plate type & consists of series of 60 Nos inclined over lapping plates space between plates 35mm, anlge of inclination 55 Degree (1220mm L x 1030mm H) (made up of FRP corrosion resistant material) arranged to form a separate sedimentation tank, the plates shall be capable of sliding up for inspection/maintenance without need to shut down the unit.

(Item 29.00 Contd..../-) (h) Sludge thickener zone shall have fair sloped hopper bottoms. The drain valve shall be provided in the hopper bottom of settling tank for removal of sludge, the arrangements shall be made to recirculate the sludge by means of sludge recirculation pumps of suitable capacity during low turbidity in raw water. (i) Clarified Water Tank : Supply, Install, testing modular, circular bolted panel Zinc alum steel water tank of net capacity 25KL of standard nearest size available, dia 3.69 m, height 2.8 m approx to store potable water with 150mm free board from top and 150mm dead water level from bottom. The outer sheel shall be made of Zincallume alloy coated, composition of coating shall be AI-55% Zinc-42.5% and Si-2.5%, High tensile steel sheet shall be made up of not less than 0.8 mm as per manufacturer recommendations for tank body. The roof of tank shall be made up of Zinc allume alloy coated with High tensile steel sheet duly supported by hot dipped galvanised metal tube trusses, length of roof sheet used shall be such that minimum number of end laps for entire roof are used, where ever required the end lap shall not be less than 300mm, Roof sheet thickness shall not be less than 0.47 mm with Grade G550. The load bearing capacity of roof shall be 100 Kg/sqm Make of sheet Tata Blue Scope/ JSW. Tank liner shall be of minimum 760 GSM, Food grade or equivalent, minimum breaking strengthwarp 270Kg/5cm, Weft 270Kg/ 5cm, tear strength warp 35kg, weft 35kg. (Item 29.00 Contd..../-) The liner shall be adequately protected using 400GSM geo textile material at the bottom and at a critical points. The tank shall be provided with all standard accessories like out let, inlet, over flow, wall mounted drain nozzles, heavy duty caged ladder from outside with platform and hand rail, nylon rope ladder with aluminium steps inside the rank & Top heavy duty lockable hinged access (600mm x 600mm)- 1 No, Tank hold down brakets, MS nozzles, flanges as per BS 10 grade D all as directed. (j) Sludge Recirculation Pump set Horizonatal, monoblock with motor of certified type for sludge recirculation of capacity 5Cum/hr, pressure 1kg/cm2 - 1No (k) Sand filter media in multigraded pressure sand filter size 3000x2000x1500m or cylindrical shape of equilisation capacity made of FRP shall consist of Pebbles – 25 to 40mm, Silex – 2 to 6mm, Quartz 6x14 mesh and shall have provision of back wash with effluent water for 10-15 min daily. (l) Backwash Pump set Horizontal, Monobloc with motor of certified type for back wash of capacity 70Cum/hr, pressure 1kg/cm2 - 1No (m) Activated Carbon Filter suitable for 25 Cum/hr water treatment & shall be made of FRP. It shall have provision of back wash with filtered water for 10-15 min daily.

(Item 29.00 Contd..../-) (n) The rate for items shall include the following :- (i) All civil work including site clearance/levelling, foundations as per recommendations of manufacturer for Multigrade pressure sand filter, Active Carbon filter, Coagulation & Flocculator tank, flash mixer, sludge removal hopper, drains, pumping sets etc all as specified. (ii) M&L for flow meters gauge to record rate of flow/ loss of head gauges, sluice valves to control water distribution complete (iii) Provision of ladder for inspection of flash mixer, flocculator clarifier & bridge with railings complete all as directed. (iv) Complete panel for motor including earthing complete (v) Drainage system, wash water shutter equipped with syphon. (vi) Suitable earthing arrangements to all electrical equipment as per standard code of earthing. (vii) Filter media of best quality sand & gravel. (viii) All pipe connections including inlet & outlet valves of suitable capacity & NRV. (ix) All motor controls, connections including cabling & wiring.

(Item 29.00 Contd..../-) (x) CI pipes, double flanged and drilled confirming to IS-1536 class B including fitting, foot valves, sluice valves, reflux valves confirming to relevant IS for interconnecting clariflocculator, filter beds, PPR pipes for air lines, back wash pumps, wash over head tank etc., including excavation and earth work and disposal of surplus soil all as directed. (xi) Supply of chemicals, lubricants and other consumable required for dosing during entire defect liability period including Phase-I and Phase-II test (o) Supply of following testing equipment -Turbidity meter - 1 No -Electronic digital pH meter - 1 No -Chlorine testing kit complete - 4 Nos -Electronic weighing balance to weigh up to 100 kg - 1 No -First aid box complete - 1 No (p) Testing and trial run of the whole plant and equipment shall be 90 days.Phase-I shall be 30 days and Phase - II after completion of phase -I as certified by GE for a period of 60 days for successful operation 16hrs daily and supplying of treated water to under ground sump. The testing and commisioning shall be carried out during this initial trial run of 30 days after laying jointing and fixing of all pipe specials, valves etc, in position including labour charges complete. Chemicals required for treatment of water shall be provided by the contractor during the entire defect liability period including trail run.

(Item 29.00 Contd..../-) Note :- The rate quoted by the contractor includes the cost of initial run Phase - I & Phase - II. 1. The contractor shall give training to the dept person for three months to operate the plant as per manufacturer instructions. 2. Contractor shall display flow diagram & periodical maintenance chart, at plant room as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 3. The treated water parameters shall be as per IS 10,500:2012 drinking water standards and also contractor shall liable to provide any other filters/mechanism if required without any extra cost to meet the treated water all as per IS 10,500:2012. 4. Contractor shall produce monthly test report for Raw & treated water from any govt labs/accrediated NABL labs till Phase I & II test. 5. The plant filter feed pumps and filters capacity and height shall be placed such way that the treated water should reach into the treated water tank of Appx height 5mtr contractor shall make necessary arrangements .

TREATED WATER TANK Supply, Install, testing of modular, circular bolted panel Zinc alum steel water tank of net capacity of 100 KL of standard nearest size available, dia 6.46 m X 4.0 m approx to store portable water with 150mm free board top and 150mm dead water level from bottom.
