M & L for APP modified roof treatment over existing roof slab etc to be executed through approved authorised applicator of the membrane manufacturer with the following specifications complete all as specified and directed:- (a) Applying oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 litre/ Sqm manufactured by the same manufacturer as that of APP with a density 0.87-0.89 Kg per litre at 25 degree centigrade on the prepared dry surface. (b) Laying APP modified water proofing membrane reinforced with non woven polyester fibre weight not less than 160gm/Sqcm using butane torch by torch application with 10cm side lap and 15cm end lap. (c) Physical properties of membrane shall be as under:- (i) Membrane weight not less than 3.50 Kg/Sqm. (ii) Non woven polyester weight not less than 160gm /sqm. (iii) Softening point of membrane not less than 150 degree Celsius. (iv) Joint tensile strength-longitudinal not less than 650N/Sqcm and transverse not less than 450 N/ Sqcm (v) Tear strength-longitudinal not less than 300 N & transverse not less than 250 N. (vi) Elongation : > 20% in both directions. (vii) Impermeability/water tightness at 2 Kgf/cm2. (viii) Water absorption - Not more than 1% on mass within 24 hours. (ix) Cold flexibility - Minimum (-) 20C. (x) Dimentional stability % change = Maximum 1%. (d) Over the membrane provided a finishing with solar reflective bitumen aluminium paint @ 0.10 Kg/ Sqm as prescribed by manufacturer.

M&L for leak/seapage proof coating consisting of preparing the surfaces of Newly plastered or existing exterior walls, parapet walls chajjas etc, with wire brush to remove all loose dirt, oil grease etc, and filling cracks above 5mm thickness with Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP or with plaster seal of STP Ltd and cracks less than 5mm with Dr Fixit Crack X powder or with plaster seal of STP Ltd and applying one coat Dr Fixit primeseal primer or STP Ltd (and allow to dry for 8 hrs) under torch dry condition and subsequently two coats of water proof decorative elastomeric coating system; of Dr Fixit Raincoat with DFT 100 microns or shalicry 215 of STP(The surface after painting one coat shall be allowed to dry at 6 hours befor next coat) etc, complete all as per manufacturer instruction and all as specified and directed.
