Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide and not exc 1.50 m deep for foundation, laying of pipe or for shafts, wells cesspits,man holes etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling, in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up/down CI/DI water mains 100 mm dia including connection/fittings from trench/wall/floors etc by burning out existing lead joints/tyton joints/rubber gasket joint etc. complete all as specified and as directed. ( Earth work will be measured and paid seperately under the relevent items of the BOQ)

Taking up/down CI/DI water mains 150 mm dia including connection/fittings from trench/wall/floors etc by burning out existing lead joints/tyton joints/rubber gasket joint etc. complete all as specified and as directed. (Earth work will be measured and paid seperately under the relevent items of the BOQ)

Taking up/down CI/DI water mains 200 mm dia including connection/fittings from trench/wall/floors etc by burning out existing lead joints/tyton joints/rubber gasket joint etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
