1 M & L for carrying out the soil investigation in respect of the soil investigation to cover field and laboratory studies include:- (a) Mobilisation of plants and equipment including men and materials as required at site of soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling as rerquired shifting the entire arrangement from one bore hole to another bore hole location and setting of boring/drilling as required and de-mobilisation of plants and quipments on completion of work etc complete (which includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of (b) Boring 150 mm dia bore holes to any depth through following type of strata :- (i) Any type of soil - 02 RM (ii) Soft Rock - 07 RM (iii) Hard Rock - 01 RM Note : In case of additional boring for above ser No (i), (ii), (iii) amount should be paid accordingly increase/devrease in quantity as per site condition 2 (a) Collection of undistrubed soil samples at 3M intervals or at any chance of strata in 100mm bore thin walltube of strata including waxing scaling, packing, trasporting etc complete - 03 Each (b) Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) as per IS 2131 including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.5 M depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data. - 06 Each 3 Conducting necessary test on all collected samples which includes the determine of the following test - 01 Each (a) Boring in accordance with IS 1895 (b) Sampling as peer IS-2132-1986 (c) SPT to correlate the strata, denseness & stfness in accordance with IS - 2131-1991 (d) Ground water table (e) Sub Soil proble (f) Field dry density & field moisture content in accordance with IS-2720-1993 (g) stterbergs limits in accordance with IS 2720-1985 (h) Particle size distribution in accordance with IS -2720 Part IV (j) Specific gravity in accordance with IS -2720 Part -III (k) Shear parameters in accordance with IS 2720 part-13 (l) Consolidation characteristic in accordance with IS-2720 Part-XV (m) Swelling parameters (n) Unconfined compressive strength value (o) Soil bearing capacity (SBC) (p) Design Parameters (q) Recommendations as regards liquefaction of soil, stabilization, type of foundation to be adopted and any other specific requirements (i) Shrinkage limit (ii) Atterberg limit (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Wet dry density (v) Particle size (Soil grain size) (vi) Consolidation test (vii) Tri-axial shear test (viii) Direct shear test (ix) Specific gravity (x) Crushing strength of rock samples (xi) Testing water sample(02 Sample) (xii) Free swell index (xiii) Sotuble salt content (Chioride & Sulphate) 4 Compilation of data and submission of report in 04 copies conatining NSBC, SBC, Settlement test result, grafhs, charts, calculatio etcc and recommendation for foundation as required - 01 Job
