OPERATION : Operation of Swimming Pool filtration plant containing the equipments as per Annexure “A” including daily checking of pool water sample using test kit,in shift duties by engaging the experienced PLANT OPERATOR & HELPER (daily two nos. operator & helper in shift duties,i.e.2 each/2 shifts x365 days) and One SUPERVISOR in general shift(1X365 days) for smooth & efficient operation of the plant.The manpower in a day would be minimum: 2Operators+2Helpers+1Supervisor=5 nos. NOTE: i)The operator should be minimum ITI qualified /12th standard pass with at least one year experience of pumping operation or 10th pass with at least three years experience of pumping operation.Helper should have minimum 10th pass with one year experience or 8th pass with five years experience of assisting pumping operations. ii)The supervisor should have minimum ITI with three years experience or 12th standard pass with atleast five years experience for operation and maintenance of swimming pool filtration plant.The duty of Supervisor would be in general shift from 09.30 to 18.00 hrs. iii)There will be generally following shifts in a day,for operator/helper : a) 1st shift : 6.00 hrs to 14.00hrs b) 2nd shift : 14.00hrs to 22.00hrs c) 3rd shift : (if required) iv) Operational data should be recorded on the approved log sheet &should be submitted daily to EIC v) Operator/helper will not leave his duty till relieved by another duty Operator/helper. In case the reliever does not report for the duty, the operator/helper on duty should continue the duty under intimation to his superiors & EIC . Note:1) The operation shall be carried out in coordination with EIC/Departmental Staff & as instructed. 2) Additional operator/helper may be deployed for 3rd shift for which payment on pro-rata basis will be made as per item 1 above,if required.
Maintenance: Supply of chemicals required for maintaining the water quality of the pool water including the cost and transportation & as per Annexure C Note:- All materials shall be of reputed & approved make generally used by leading swimming pools

Testing of swimming pool water sample as per IS : 3228 :1993 or relevant IS' s from the approved laboratory once in a month or as & when required & submitting the report directly to EIC.
Rewinding of Kirloskar or any other make 3ph induction motors with enameled copper coil/conductor, including providing “F” class insulation, varnishing, forming of end connections, silver brazing of series joints etc., spraying the rewound stator with class ‘F’ resin, varnish, curing & spraying the stator with final coat of “F” class insulation, moisture protection & finally coated with anti tracking & anti acid finishing & varnishing & gel coat etc. including metalizing of end shield, machining etc. including complete dismantling of motor, stator rewinding etc., transportation of motor from site to workshop & back after repairing including loading, unloading of the motor at site & workshop, installation, alignment, testing, commissioning all as directed & to the satisfaction of engineer-In-Charge, conducting the following routine test as per IS : 4027/1967 etc. in presence of departmental engineer at factory etc. complete & submitting test certificates all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. 1. Insulation Resistance Test. 2. Measurement of resistance of winding test. 3. No Load Test. 4. Reduced voltage running up test for rewound motor. 5. Any mechanical/electrical defect to be brought to the notice of Engineer-In-Charge. 6.The motor to be removed from site transported to the workshop & back to site & installed in position at the risk & cost of contractor. Note : Rewinding of motor shall be done by approved agency/authorized agency of the motor works.There should be warranty of the winding for atleast six months after its repair.

Weekly routine & preventive including breakdown maintenance of filtration plant, pump set,valves, pressure filters,compressor & other equipments as per the check list enclosed as Annexure “D” all as per specifications & as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Details of equipments & plants etc. are as per Annexure “A”) Note : i) The necessary spares parts required for the maintenance shall be supplied by the department at free of cost except consumable materials like grease,oil,cotton waste,rubber parts, etc. ii) Above maintenance includes attending day to day complaints of pumps, valves & other equipments/accessories inside the filtration plant & swim pool premises. iii) Greasing to the bearings of electric motors on both sides shall be done as per requirement/ instructions from Engineer-In-Charge .
Replacement of filter media in the existing pressure filters by supplying & filling gravel of size 1-2 mm & and of 0.4-0.8 mm of approved quality including removing the filter media from the existing filters & disposing the waste to the directed location all as per specifications & directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing, fixing & jointing to pipe work of 150 mm dia Cast Iron/Spheroidical Graphite(SG)Iron D/F butterfly valves with IS mark approved make as per IS : 13095 of PN 1.6 rating (including all hardware & packing) water works quality , having hand wheel/lever arm, spindle of stainless steel as per requirement, testing the joints & valves to hydraulic pressure as mentioned all as per specifications & directed Including making flanged joints with or without new flanges & providing & fixing CI/DI/PVC/CPVC/HDPE specials(tail pieces etc.), including removing the existing butterfly valves & depositing in the departmental stores etc. complete all as per specifications & directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note : The agency has to provide tool kit & appliances for the technician with measuring instruments, pliers, nose pliers, knives, adjustable spanners, hand crimpling tool & any other tools required for attending the complaints.
Fabrication & welding works:
Fabrication & welding works at all levels in steel sections like angles flats tees & channels, MS plain or chequered plates including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, installation & fixing in position on site including painting with a primer coat of approved steel primer, oil paint,etc compete all as per instructions & directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Repairs of GI/MS/PVC leaky pipes/chamber covers/ MS,CI valve, operation key rods/ plant house doors/aldrops/damaged angles /channels etc. by welding including cost of labour charges, welding materials, grinding, finishing, painting the surfaces, transportation etc. for the plant system all as per the instructions & directed by Engineer-In-Charge.( one job of minimum single run welding length up 25 cms or part of it )

Quarterly servicing and breakdown maintenance,if any, of oxygen generator & concentrator(Ozonator unit) as per manufacturer's specification by approved/company technician,preferably through non-comprehensive service contract through the manufacturers. Note: Breakdown maintenance shall be done as and when required.Spares required for the breakdown maintenance will be paid separately,except for minor spares & consumable materials like grease,oil,cotton waste,rubber parts,etc..In event of breakdown the agency shall arrange the technician/mechanic to come as early as possible and rectify the problem.
Raising of existing under ground Borewell /valve-chamber : Removing the existing MS/RCC chamber cover & fixing again after height raising of chamber,raising the height of Borewell/valve chamber upto 400 mm by construction of 230 mm thick bricks masonry in cement mortar 1:6, cement plaster 20mm thick with cement mortar ratio of 1:4 both inside & outside & all exposed surfaces finished with a coat of neat cement, necessary cement concrete 1:2:4 seating for MS/RCC covers at top curing etc.,painting of MS cover after red-oxide, complete all as per specification & as directed by EIC.
