SPECIAL REPAIRS FOR CONVERSION OF LT OVERHEAD LINES TO UNDERGROUND CABLES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT KALIMPONG UNDER GE 867 EWS

Amount

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 in depth for taking out /laying of cable, stays, poles etc., and getting out in soft/loose soil.complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in soil, including spreading leveling, watering and wall ramming in laying not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exe 50m and depositing where directed at alevel n.exe 1.5m above the starting point complete all as directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Supply and spreading of dry sand in trenches for cable coushioning and punned down complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Punned thickness only shall be measured for payment purpose.

M&L for un-reinforced LT cable covers, class LV, Type 1, flat of size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm including taking out existing unserviceable cable covers/bricks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of insulators any type any size from existing poles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of unserviceable ACSR conductor of any type and size from existing poles at various locations complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of cross arms (Clamp, nut bolts ) from existing poles at various locations complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix security light DK Thermoplastic junction boxes of Dimension –[205 x 255 x 112]mm with aluminium bus bar of 100 Amps rating incl insulator , shockproof, rustproof, termite resistant, weather proof, with knockouts for cable entry , pole mounting arrangement including clamps,nuts & bolts of suitable size, IP 66, along with provision of Cable Glands incl three core copper cable with pvc conduit from junction box to LED fitting. Make:Hensel Code No KF 2525 G or equivalent.

Supply and laying in trenches, fixed to wall or drawn through pipe etc., XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with solid aluminium conductor of size 6 Sqmm 4 core and connecting with necessary lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying in trenches, fixed to wall or drawn through pipe etc., XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with solid aluminium conductor of size 10 Sqmm 4 core and connecting with necessary lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for Item No. 10&11:- Excavation, earth work, brick protection, protection pipe and sand coushioning shall be measured and paid separately. Make of cable shall be CCI / Gloster / ICC / Unistar / NICCO / Asian (RPG) / Havells / Polycab/PRG/Universal/Plaza/Crystal cables/Terracom/ Rallison/Mescab/Jeypore/KEI

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.3 mm buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep bellow ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to GI earth lead wire 4 mm dia. by means of galvanized iron or steel bolts , nuts , check nuts and washers, and connected to equipments as directed , including funnel with GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm bore , wire mesh , charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layers of 15 cm compacted thickness all around the earth electrode , with concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 , 50 mm thick pre cast RCC 1 : 2 : 4 type B-1 cover slab reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bar 15 cm C/C and suitable handle of 10 mm dia round bar, 15 mm GI medium grade pipe for earth lead protection including necessary excavation earth work in soft/loose soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n.exc. 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I including taking up existing earthing material complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for earth lead and protection pipe upto 7.5m.

Material and labour for taking down existing GI bracket of any size from pole and refixing at new location on existing pole with suitable size of clamp and nut, bolts at height complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Clamp and nut bolt shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

M&L for cross arms , bracings, supports, clamps and back plate fabricated from structural sections including nuts, bolts, and washer bending hot or cold , drilling holes for bolts of any size and painting with two coats of aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed by the Enginee-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 25 mm dia bore GI tubing Light grade, laid under roads/ floor, or fixed to wall or along the pole with suitable size M.S.flat iron clamps, nuts, bolts and washers for cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Egineer-in-Charge. Make: TATA/ZENETH/JINDAL

Schedule of Credit (Minus) Rs. 14,900.00 B/F from Ser page No. 24 NOTE: Bidder shall insert credit amount as rate Rs. 14,900.00 in Green field under Col-M. If bidder does not insert the amount the same will be deducted from total amount of Schedule 'A' and accordingly total amount of tender will be considered in deciding the lowest tender.
