CERTAIN REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT AND ASSOCIATED WORKS IN MD/OTM ACCN AT AF STN RAJOKRI UNDER GE (AF) GURGAON

Demolition of Mud in roofs, any thickness including plastering and leeping,(whether full thickness removed etc complete all as specified.

Demolition Bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in laid bedded in any mortar on floors, channels,kerbs, aprons, etc. (each layer) complete all as specified.

M&L for 40 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.50 mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof padding, sub base of floor coping complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick plaster in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound on roof slabs finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) after cleaning of roof surfaces with wire brushes complete all as specified. Notes : WPC shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for water proofing treatment with APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane over roof consisting of cleaning of concrete or plaster surface of roof & parapet walls and applying evenly a bitumen primer confirming to IS 3488 @ 0.40 Kg per sqm followed by a tack coat @ 1.2 kg per sqm using 85/25 grade industrial hot blow bitumen over it laid with APP modified polymeric water proofing membrane minimum weight 3.6 kg/sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fabric (weight not less than 160 grams per sqm) unrolled and bonded to substrata with logitudinal and end laps 100 mm as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified.

Cutting grooves in brick wall, 75mm wide and 65mm deep and shaping horizontal face of groove with cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping or roof kerbs on roof chamfered on edge including trowelling slightly complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 22mm thick, machine pressed; set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors, and cut and polished, set with grey cement and pigments complete all as specified.

Material and labour for roof treatment as follows:- (a) Applying one coat of SBR latex based bond coat using Latex Plus of Berger or equivalent after mixing with water and cement in ratio of 1:4:7 to improve the bonding between residual and PU coat. Allow to dry bond coat for 4-6 hours before applying PU coat and surface to be cleaned before applying PU coat (b) Applying two coats of single component, cold applied, water based polyurethane modified acrylic dispersion with highly elastic and UV resistant water proofing treatment to the roof with HS PU Roofkoat of Berger or Equivalent at 0.6 kg/per Sqm for each coat without dilution confirming to ASTM D 6083-97a (Standard Specification for Liquid Applied Acrylic Coating used In Roofing)Each coat should allow to dry 4-6 hours and sandwiching 40gsm Geo-textile between two coats. Spread 40gsm Geo textile over 1st coat when coat is wet condition The component shall have a density of 1.25 to 1.3kg/per Litre, having tensile strentgh of 1.5N/mm2, having elongation of 350% with solid content not less than 60% in 2 coats . SRI value should be more than 100. the quoted rate shall include surface prepartion,repair the crack in mother slab by chasing with cutting machine and fill the same with polymerized mortar in CM 1:4 admixed with latex agent of reputed manufacture, making coving at Junction, bore packing, treatment of construction joints completely as per manufacurer's specification and direction of the Engineer In Charge. Make: Berger or Equivalent NOTE:- The above treatment shall be got carried out by the authorised applicator of the manufacturer approved by the GE
