PAINTING TO RUNWAY, TAXIWAY, DISPERSAL AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AF STN YEL (PHASE I) (MANUAL)

Material and Labour for one coat of painting lines, dashes, arrows,letters etc on bituminous/ concrete surfaces exceeding 10 cm width, with approved water base paint of colour white, Golden yellow, deep orange, PO red and black as per the requirement in the Air field including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Make: APCOTRAK of Asian paints or its techno commercially equivalent. Coverage area of paint shall be 6 sqm /Lit by adding 10-15% of potable water(Dispersals and taxitracks)

M&L for painting concrete surfaces exc 10cm width and girth wiith waterbase exterior emulsion paint with approved tint including prparation of surfaces etc completed (make: snocem paints pvt ltd /Berger paints ltd/Asian paints ltd)

M&L preparation of old painted surface and applying one coat of cemenet base paint of approved tint or color on conncete / bituminous surface by over 10 cm girth all as specified and directed

M&L one coat of synthetic enamel paint on old surface of any description over 10 cm width or girth including preparation of old surfaces like control huts (use colour red and white)

M&L for removing existing paint from runway, taxyway and apron by water blasting / sand blasting and disposal of rubbish, dirt and dust from the surface of the runway, taxyway and apron complete all as specified and directed

Note: For Ser No 01 to 07 : Wearing of flourecent waist jacket is mandatory for all the workers while working in the Air field. The quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for the above provisions Note 2: Precaution has to be taken to avoid spilling of paint over existing painted surfaces even after if emulsion spills over painted surfaces it has to be removed immediately to enable the proper subsequent coating of paint
