REPAIRS TO ROAD, PATH AND CULVERT IN THE AREA OF AGE B/R-I UNDER GE (WEST) JABALPUR

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying a tack coat @ 5 Kg/ 10 Sqm , putting in premixed bituminous macadam , well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg / 10 m2 ,blinded with 0.09 m3 of stone chippings 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam ,binder and chippings l) depth of holes exceeding 30mm.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed

Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam for consolidated thickness upto 75 mm or less with using 19mm graded (Grading 2) stone aggregate with minimum 4.0% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Premixed bituminous macadam shall be prepared in hot mix plant only. (ii) Premixed bituminous macadam shall be laid with sensor paver only. (iii) Binder content shall be tested at site as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm (consolidated thickness) in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% minimum binder content mixed by weight of total mix as wearing course, using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified.(Note: No Extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for more quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch 'A'.)

M&L for bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.50 % binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete shall be prepared in hot mix plant only. (ii) Bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete shall be laid with sensor paver only. (iii) Binder content shall be tested at site as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs two directional CATs eyes of size 100x100x25mm made up of ABS (Astronitrilite) Butadiene Styrene engineering plastic, dynamically designed having high impact strength fitted with 02 nos highly reflective reflectors on both side, fixed on bituminous/concrete surface with suitable adhesive complete all as per manufacturers instructions. Make : Mr Illumination/3M/Aktion/Dark eye.

S&F in repairs raised reflective pavement markers Solar blinkers studs (Cat eyes) of 6 LEDs made of plastic body moulded from HIPS (Hi-impact polystrene) or ABS plastic conforming to ASTM D type 4280 type H and complying to specifications of category A and reflective panels consisting of number of lenses containing single or dual internal reflection of light entering the lens face, with height not exceeding 20mm and length and width 100mm (not exceeding surface shall be 13 Sq.cm on each face and shall preferably be 35 + 5 degree slope to base to face, fixed as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed. S&F in repairs road delinators as per IRC-79-1981 (road way indicators) dual directions, retro reflective, round delinator made out of 16 gauge MS pipe 75 mm dia and of height 900mm duly powered coat painted and provided with three reflective band of colour red, white and yellow colour, 150 mm wide and50 micron thick and protected with welded wire cage including necessary excavation of size 300x300x450mm and PCC 1:2:4 type B2 foundation complete all as directed.

M&L for applying one coat reflecting paint with 50 microns thick over concrete surface or stone walls or iron and the and the application in dry area 5 degree to 50 degree celcius and flash point not less than 92 degree celcius. Retro reflective 70 to 120 Cdlx/Mtr will be measured with portable retro reflective measuring gun all as spedified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
