Supply, install, test and commissioning of silent type Diesel engine driven Generation set of capacity 30 KVA/24 KW, 3 Phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, at 0.8 pf (lag) with Diesel engine, Alternator and control panel all mounted in acoustic enclosure including Catalytic Converter for emission control etc complete confirming to the detailed specifications as given below:- Diesel Engine: The diesel engine shall be of capacity suitable for alternator of capacity 30 KVA/24 KW developing required power for rated KVA not less than 20.8 KW at 1500 RPM, 3 Cylinders in-line, radiator cooled, continuous duty with 10% overload capacity for any one hour in 12 hours of continuous running and consisting of following:- a) Radiator cooled b) Electrical Starter Motor 12V DC. c) 1No x 12 V battery, 90 AH rating with connecting leads and terminals. d) Battery Charging Alternator e) Fuel System with electronic governor f) Full flow spin-on lube oil filter g) Duel fuel filter with water separator h) Residential type silencer j) Dry type air cleaner k) Fly wheel and fly wheel housing I) First fill of lube oil & Coolant. Alternator : -The Alternator shall be capacity 30 KVA/ 24 KW, 415 Volts, at 0.8 pf (lag,) 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system, suitable for operation at 1500 RPM. The Alternator shall be brushless type screen protected, revolving field, self excited, self regulated through an AVR, copper wound, Class ‘H’ insulation, having +1.0% voltage regulation (max) in static conditions and continuous duty operation. Mounting Arrangement :- Engine and Alternator shall be mounted on a common MS fabricated base frame with Anti Vibration Mounting Pads. Fuel Tank :- Integral fuel tank shall be of capacity not less than 75 Litres and provided with drain plug, air vent, inlet and outlet connection, level indicator and provision for cleaning.

Acoustic Enclosure :- The entire generator, prime mover, fuel tank and DG set control panel should be housed in a sound proof acoustic enclosure made of CRCA sheets with UV resistant powder coated and a structural/sheet metal base frame. The walls of the enclosure should be insulated with high quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material complying to IS-8183 for better sound attenuation so as to comply with 75 DBA at 1 meter sound levels at 75% load under free field conditions as specified by MOEF/CPCB. The enclosure should be provided with the following.- (i) Suitable doors on all sides to enter in to the container for easy maintenance. All doors shall be provided with locks and handles for opening/closing of doors. (ii) suitable internal lighting to carry out easy inspection and maintenance. (iii) Air Intel louvers designed to operate at rated load. (iv) Fluid filling point with locking arrangement (v) Fuel filling point with locking arrangement. (vi) Push button for emergency stop. Note for item No. 1 :- (i) Cost of PCC foundation for DG set as per manufacturer’s recommendations covered by shed of suitable height is included in the quoted rate. (ii) On successful installation, the DG set shall be subjected to load test as specified below:- Phase-I: No-load test for 01 hour in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge. Phase-II: Load test for 12 hours continuously (at 25% of full load for fist one hour 50% of full load for second one hour, 75% of full load for third one hour, 100% load for next 08 hours and 110% of full load for last one). Resistive type load bank or Water Load, Fuel and testing instruments as required for load testing shall be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Phase-II load test shall be carried out in the presence of testing officer nominated by Accepting Officer.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 50 sq mm 3.5 core including suitable size cable gland all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Earthing complete with 600mm x 600mm x 6.0 mm galvanised steel earth plate electrode buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to and including GI Strip of size 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers of galvanised steel including 50 mm dia GI light grade pipe for protection of GI strip to the extent of 7.5 metres as earthing lead and connecting to the eqpt, viz transformer, L.T panel etc. including charcoal dust and salt packed all around the earth plate in the earth pit all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR - 2009 Part I including chamber made up of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 with M.S angle iron frame, C.I Cover with provision of locking arrangement and 20 mm dia light grade GI Pipe from top edge of the earth plate upto M.S. funnel with wire mesh provided inside the concrete earth pit for watering arrangement, Material and labour complete including excavation and earth work in any type of soil strata and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix Cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor/indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5 Core XLPE armoured /PVC aluminium conductor cable of size 50 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour sand cushioning (dry sand) to underground cable for cable protection 23 cm thick in two layers (8 cm thick before laying of cables and 15 cm thick after laying the cable and punning down the sand to 18 cm thickness.). Complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- Only punned thickness 18 cm of sand shall be measured for payment purposes).

Returning filling in including, spreading,levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying GI tube 50 mm light grade as in cable protection pipe including all fittings & taking down / taking out from trench complete all as directed.

Supply and laying well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks. ( designated 75) locally available best quality laid dry in trenches for protection of underground cable all as specified and directed.
