Drilling trial bore hole by direct rotating rig method by 215 mm dia drill and drill upto 200mtr depth from GL for the following various depth below ground level through any type of strata including electro logging to find out potable water strata, from ground level up to 50 mtr depth & disposal of soil from the site , etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note-: Trial bore will be done after submission of Central Ground Water Board report for water availability and same to be approved by GE. The contractor shall liaise with the CGWB officials in connection with site viste to locate the source / point for bore well and submit the report. The unit ratequoted is deemed to include this aspect. )

Chemical, biological and portability testing of water samples taken from the bore complete all as specified and directed (Note -Test certificate obtain from Govt. approved laboratories having NABL accreditation, and shall be submitted by the contractor in original.)

Supply, lowering vertically and fixing in position ERW MS Casing pipe of wall thickness 6mm, 250mm bore of suitable length with bevellaed ends suitable for and including welded butt joints with electric arc welding, conforming to IS: 3589/1991 all as specified and directed. Supplying, lowering, assembling and fixing in position 150mm dia fibreglass strainer 6mm thick and 1mm soft size including joint MS ERW well pipe 150mm dia through MS adopter and socket to nearest socket at levels by welding as reqd and incl special sockets for connecting to MS pipe all as specified in IS 8110 complete all as specified and directed. M&L for Supply, pouring / packing the surrounding of casing pipe with pre-gravel(sub-rounded to rounded) of 2mm to 4mm thick of approved quality through the tube assembly complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cement sealing of saline water strata level with mixture of cement, bentonite & clay in the ratio of (1:1:8) to depth of 10mtr and or to the required depth and angular space and thickness (using quick setting cement) complete all as directed by Engr- in Charge.

S&F well cap for 250mm bore ERW 6mm thick casing pipe, made out of 6mm thick MS sheet with locking arrangement. (Note-: After completion of work the cap will be used to keep the tube well closed until the pump set is installed and thereafter as and when required. Development of tube well by air compressor and diesel driven turbine pump for least 24 hour and till the time clean water of portable quality free from sand / mud is obtained and including carrying out yield test of tube well consecutive two days giving rest of 2 hour after every 8 hour of continuous run and as directed by Engr-in -Charge. Note: (i) The development of the tube well by over pumping should be done for 15% to 25% higher discharge than expected discharge from the tube well. The final discharge should be free from sand / mud with maximum tolerance.

S&F MS clamps made out of MS flat iron 65x10mm of suitable length with suitable size made to shape fabricated including drilling holes for fixing of GI / SS nuts, bolts and washers suitable for 250mm dia bore housing/casing pipe including one coat of black bituminous paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
