The Financial Bid shall be read in Conjunction with the Bidding Document
There are 3 schedules in the Financial Bid as follows : (i) Schedule-A (NDSR items) (ii) Schedule-B (Civil DSR 2023 items) (iii) Schedule-C Horticulture & Landscaping DSR Items (2025) The bidder is required to quote a flat percentage "Excess" (+) / "Less" (-) / "At par" with respect to the Total amount of all the Schedules in the "BoQ1" Sheet and further discount if any may be Quoted in the "BOQ2" Sheet along with methodology of discount if any. The percentage quoted by the Bidder in "BoQ1" sheet and discount (if any) quoted by the Bidder in the "BoQ2" will be applied on the individual rate mentioned under Column "5" for Schedule-A and Column "6" for Schedule-B & C, for the purpose of payment to the Contractor.
The quantities for various items provided in the Financial Bid are estimated quantities and are given to provide a common basis for Bidding. During the execution of works, the same may vary based upon "Good for Construction" (GFC) drawings issued by the Engineer and as per the site conditions. The basis of the payment will be the actual quantities of the work executed and accepted by the Engineer or quantities as per the GFC drawings whichever is less and shall be paid /valued as per the accepted rates.
Bidder may please note that to perform this contract. nothing extra shall be payable on account of field constraints, non-availability of uninterrupted front, cost of project management, monitoring, coordination and supervision, cost of adhering to quality requirements (QA/QC), cost of adhering to SHE requirements, cost of preparing drawings and documents, as-built records and documentation, preparation of detailed scheme for taking necessary clearance and approval from the concerned authority and other local bodies etc.
Income Tax and any other statutory taxes to be deducted at source will be deducted by the Employer from the due payments of the contractor in accordance with the prevailing rules in force.
Bidder should not tamper the Price Bid. If the Price Bid is found to be modified by the bidder, then the same will be treated as incomplete and non-responsive and may result in the rejection of the Bid.
Method of Quoting the Price in the Pricing Document The Pricing Document is in Excel Format and Quoting of the Price in the Pricing Document should be as Follows: (i) Whole Excel Worksheet is Locked except the Cells which are highlighted in Blue. (ii) Bidders are required to fill these cells which are highlighted in Blue only. (iii) Bidder is required to quote a flat percentage Excess / Less / At Par in the "BOQ1'' Sheet Cell H16, N16 for Total Amount of Schedules. (iv) All 'blanks' in the Pricing Document, where the Bidder is permitted to quote shall be filled in. (v) If some % is quoted inspite of marking 'At par' that % will not be considered and it will be taken as "At par" on basic amount. Failure to quote the % excess or % less or 'at par' for the "total amount of Schedules" shall be treated as "At Par" irrespective of any Percentage (if indicated) and shall be evaluated accordingly. (vi) Bidder is required to quote Rates in INR only. However, The bidder requiring any payment in forgein currencies (in maximum three freely convertible forgein currencies) may stipulated the same in Schedule of payment as per sub clause 15.2 of ITB/BDS.
Errors will be corrected by the Employer for any arithmetic errors in computation or summation as per contract conditions.
For Calculation of rates (excluding GST) of DSR 2023 items, following Methodology issued by CPWD vide Office Memorendum (OM) dated 08.08.2024 have been adopted: As per CPWD OM the rates of individual items of DSR 2023 has been multiplied with correction factor on account of GST @ 0.973 to the existing rate of DSR 2023 item in order to achieve modified DSR rate and then reduced the corrected rate by 18% for making DSR item excluding GST. Note: (a) The above Methodology shall be applicable for calculating the rate of Individual Items of DSR 2023 in Schedule B items executed under Any other DSR items in Schedule B (to be executed under Lump Sum amount). Based on the above Methodology and the price quoted by the bidder, the payment shall be made for the individual items of DSR 2023 and for the items executed under Lump Sum amount of DSR 2023 in Schedule B.
The bidder may visit the Site to assess the condition of the girders (free issue material) and satisfy itself regarding the space available for its erection. The bidder shall be deemed to have understood and made sufficient allowance for available space for erection of girders at Site. Cost of all measures, methods, provisions required to execute work based on available space for erection of girders shall be included in quoted price.

IN-SITU CONCRETE WORKS
M40/20 grade cement concrete for RCC crash barriers/Parapet Wall/Toe Wall & For structural elements at all levels like floor slabs, track slabs, chajja slabs, floor beams, cross beams, cantiliver beams, inverted beams, gutter beams, shafts, walls, stair case slab including steps, sills, lintels, copings, pits etc.
Providing and laying M40/20 concrete (OPC Cement) for walkway slab of width 1170 mm and thickness 75 mm including centering, steel shuttering, Sacrificial Shuttering, scaffolding, and all related operation as required to complete the work as specified in drawings. Reinforcement shall be paid separately. Providing and fixing of AIR WALKER / HEALTH WALKER make of Arihant/ Grand Slam/ Ok Play/ Outdoor Effect. Health Walker of size 1070x615x1509mm fabricated with main post of 114mm “B” Class G.I. pipe made of hot roller tubular steel and hot dipped galvanized and powder welded coated using Akzo Nobel of 60-80 micron thick. All joints of pipe are robotic welded with joints scalloped as necessary and dressed off removing sharp edges and burrs. Zinc primer paint are applied at all welding points prior to finishing. Pedals shall be made of Nylon alloy with rounded edges to prevent any impact of injury and base plate cover to be made from virgin LLPDE manufactured by rotational moulding with minimum thickness of plastic of 8mm colourful and UV resistant and environmental friendly. Bearing used shall be made maintenance free, duly oil sealed and self-lubricated made by reputed company to be approved by Engineer-in-charge. Equipment to be fitted with in welded with joints scalloped as necessary and dressed off removing sharp edges and burrs. Zinc primer paint are applied at all welded points prior to finishing. All complete as per the technical specifications to manufacture the item. The Complete item to be fixed in C:C (1:2:4) block of appropriate size after deep excavation/earth work at site as required. All complete as per direction and Pre approval of engineer in- charge regarding material, shape of equipment, colour on metal, seat and base cover plate and fixing of equipments etc. All GI pipe to be used of make Apollo/Jindal/tata with powder coating process.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.
Cleaning and desilting of gully trap chamber, including removal of rubbish mixed with earth etc. and disposal of same, all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Cleaning of chocked sewer line by diesel running vehicle mounting hydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting sewer cleaning machine fitted with pump having 4000 litres suction capacity and 6000 litres water jetting tank capacity including skilled operator, supervising engineer etc. for cleaning and partial desilting of manholes and dechocking of sewer lines. Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specificatons and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M -30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with line sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineerin-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured to calculate volume for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Providing and laying C.C. pavement of mix M-25 with ready mixed concrete from batching plant. The ready mixed concrete shall be laid and finished with screed board vibrator, vacuum dewatering process and finally finished by floating, brooming with wire brush etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Constructing brick masonry circular manhole 1.22 m internal dia at bottom and 0.56 m dia at top in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) inside cement plaster 12 mm thick with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement foundation concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) and making necessary channel in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, all complete as per standard design :
Providing orange colour safety foot rest of minimum 6 mm thick plastic encapsulated as per IS : 10910, on 12 mm dia steel bar conforming to IS: 1786, having minimum cross section as 23 mmx25 mm and over all minimum length 263 mm and width as 165 mm with minimum 112 mm space between protruded legs having 2 mm tread on top surface by ribbing or chequering besides necessary and adequate anchoring projections on tail length on 138 mm as per standard drawing and suitable to with stand the bend test and chemical resistance test as per specifications and having manufacture's permanent identification mark to be visible even after fixing, including fixing in manholes with 30x20x15 cm cement concrete block 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) complete as per design.
