REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROADS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE IN ZONE C AND D UNDER AGE B/R (N) NO. I OF GE(N) SECUNDERABAD.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam including soling surfaces if required in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep and removing materials from site of work or stacking for reuse at site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 7.5cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with granite, trap or basalt stone complete all as specfied and directed.

Description all as per item No 2 above but except materials ( Material retrived from from item No 1 to be reused after screening) complete as specfied and directed.

M&L for Screening road metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as directed

Repairs to pot holes of any depth and n exc 1 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud, water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen (VG-30) putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping). depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specfied and directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying a tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate application of 0. 7-1 kg/sqm as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Premix bituminous macadam with paving bitumen any penetration laid/rolled with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen (VG-30)and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less). Complete all as specfied and directed.

M&L for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying a tack coat of with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30mm consolidated thickness with Job mix formula using paving bitumen (VG-30) with 5.5% binder content(paving bitumen) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mixed plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical paver complete to be uniform surface complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
