Replacement of Faulty Power Cables for KV School and Post Office at IIT Guwahati Campus

Part A

Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 1.1 KV grade of following size direct in ground including excavation, sand cushioning, protective covering and refilling the trench etc as required.

Above 35 sq. mm and upto 95 sq. mm

Above 185 sq. mm and upto 400 sq. mm

Supplying and fixing cable route marker with 10 cm X 10 cm X 5 mm thick G.I. plate with inscription there on, bolted /welded to 35 mm X 35 mm X 6 mm angle iron, 60 cm long and fixing the same in ground as required.

Supplying and making end termination with brass compression gland and aluminium lugs for following size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade as required.

3½ X 240 sq. mm (62mm)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (including equivalent design mix)

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying old cement cocrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Old CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the department free of cost).

Supply of 50 sq. mm 3.5 core XLPE insulated armoured, 1.1KV grade, Aluminium power cable (Approved make- Havells, KEI, Polycab, RR Cable, RPG, NICCO, Finolex, CCI, Incab)

Supply of 240 sq. mm 3.5 core XLPE insulated armoured, 1.1KV grade, Aluminium power cable (Approved make- Havells, KEI, Polycab, RR Cable, RPG, NICCO, Finolex, CCI, Incab)

Supply and laying of 65mm dia G.I. Pipe as par ISI MARKED, Mediam Class

Supply and laying of 100mm dia G.I. Pipe as par ISI MARKED, Mediam Class
