Excavation in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposal of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.50mtr. And a lead upto 20.00 mtr. as per technical specification Clause 1603.2 and MORD specification including carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportations in all lead, lift and all incidental charges. All earth work in cutting / excavation , including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades , side slopes, width, chamber, super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in - Charges, in conformity with the requirement of techanical specification for Rural Road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation wodth including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut matereial inspecified manner,tremming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as dirrected by the Engineer-in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of stone, wether useful of not for 119.49 cubic meter in all cases falling which recovery @ Rupees 300/- only (Rupees three hundereed only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.
