CERTAIN REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT, ROOF SHEETS AND OTHER CONNECTED B/R WORKS AT AIR FORCE STATION UDHAMPUR

M&L and taking down of existing unserviceable roof treatment materials and PCC / CM / Brick tiles padding etc from top of roof upto slab (complete depth) carefully by cutting chiseling, cleaning the surface by scraping brooming brushing etc and removing the rubbish from site exc. 500m but n exc 1.5km and applying roof treatment with the following specifications:- (a) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 with water proofing compound on cleaned concrete surfaces of roof and finishing the surfaces fair and even including curing the plastered surfaces for for 07 days by ponding of water over the roof (Levelling course). (Note : Water proofing compound paid and measured separtely). (b) Applying evenly first coat cold bitumen primer confirming to IS-3384-1986 @ 0.40 Ltr per square metre on the cleaned plastered surfaces. (c) Applying evenly second coat of blown hot bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.20 kg per square metre (confirming to IS-702) on primed surfaces. (d) Applying third coat of APP modified membrane 3mm thick (minimum) and weight 3.60 Kg per square metre (reinforced) with polyster non woven fabric weighing not less than 150 gms per square metre by torch application. The overlap shall not be less than 100mm on the transverse direction and 75mm on longitudinal direction and sealing overlaps. Notes :- (i) Payment against this item shall not be allowed till completion of all the stages of work for any slab. (ii) The work shall be executed through well-trained applicators as per manufacturer's instructions after obtaining written approval from the GE (iii) Work will be carried out up to a height of 20 m from GL.

M&L for outdoor floor tiles of size 300x300mm thickness not less than 10mm set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry ,laid over and incl 15mm thick cement screed base in CM 1:4, laid roofs complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheets, asbestos cement (corrugated, semi corrugated) etc sheets and any type or any description of roof covering, complete all as specified. Note: Work will be carried out up to a height of 20 m from GL.

M&L for pre painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated sheets 0.5 mm thick of any colour having tensile strenght of 550/MPA as in roof covering, cladding to wall fixed with self taping screws complete all as specified.

All as per Srl item No 04 above but plain sheets as in ridges / valley gutter.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for any height

Dismantling ballies, hard or soft wood, any position, except in posts and struts; including taking out iron straps, bolts and nuts, etc., if any

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion from Concrete and making good disturbed ground complete.

S&F Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc. complete all as specified.(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality- AFe)

S&F Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated)(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality- AFe) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment.(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E- 250) quality- AFe) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 15mm bore of steel tubing with connections for cleaning for refixing or removing to store/yard complete all as specified .

S&F for steel water tubing of nominal bore 15 mm medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, fixed to walls, concealed in wall and ceiling or laid in floor complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) complete all as specified.

Taking up or down 20mm bore of steel tubing with connections for cleaning for refixing or removing to store/yard complete all as specified .

M&L for steel water tubing of nominal bore 20 mm, medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, laid in trenches complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) complete all as specified.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings,heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks,etc., including cleaning or refixingor removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified.

S&F 110mm bore PVC(SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls, complete all as specified.

S&F 110mm bore PVC(SWR) bends any radius, complete all as specified.

Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar including all quoines arches, pillar etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks 6mm mean radius straight or curved on plan to any radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified.

All as per srl item No. 18 but except bricks.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of acrylic exterior emulsion paint after filling putty or white cement to holes, cracks and uneven surfaces where required, over a coat of primer in camouflage pattern on newly plastered wall surfaces including preparation of surface, complete all as specified.

M & L Preparing New Surfaces of Walls and applying two coats of Cement base paint as per the existing pattern complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified.

Preparation of new surface any description not otherwise described area 10cm width or girth and apply two coats of synthetic Enamel paint, complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel or steel based surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing water tanks exc 250 & n.exc 500 Ltr capacity, setting aside (or lovering if required ) and cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes and reconnecting and re-fixing in position, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing water tanks exc 500 & n.exc 1000 Ltr capacity, setting aside (or lovering if required ) and cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes and reconnecting and re-fixing in position, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and removing to water storage tanks of capacity exc 250 & not exceeding 500 liters and removing to stores complete all as specified .

S&F rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks ( cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-I of capacity 500 liters including all accessories, complete all as specified.

Dismantling and removing to water storage tanks of capacity exceeding 500 liters but not exceeding 1000 ltrs and removing to stores complete all as specified .

S&F rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks ( cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-I of capacity 1000 liters including all accessories, complete all as specified.

S&F in repairs 20 mm bore dia of pipe ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed (min weight 20 mm - 210 grms).

M&L for cement concrete in roofs kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges type B0 1:2:4 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate incl demolition of old concrete kerbs etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
