Surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas n. exc 1.50 m deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundations, laying of pipes & cable etc and not exceeding 10 square meter on plan for manholes etc and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in with approved excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as speci-fied and directed.

M&L for moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick spread leveled and ramming including watering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2, (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling or mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with fly ash bricks old size, straight or curved on plain exc. 6 mtr mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) for wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bends plinth course, string course, lacing courses, parapets and railing upto 60 cm height, coping, kneelers, ap[ex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels & drains complete all as specified & directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitered/ stopped ends etc complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE: Inner girth shall be measured)

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) in CM 1:4 complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP-3, laid in trenches and jointed complete with collars in cement mortar (1:1) for 600 mm internal diameter of pipes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2, (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling or mass concrete haunching and packing in sides of culvert pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting by power roller exc 8 tonne & n.exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Soling (or sub base) 150 mm thick (spread thickness) or quarried stones, granite trap or basalt interstices filled, surface formed, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for WBM 15 cm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers of 7.5 cm each with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2(63 to 40 mm size) for first layer & grading 3(50 to 20mm size) for second layer, spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and consolidated to gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Rate quoted against this item is for 150 mm thickness water bound macadam. (ii) Each layer shall be laid and rolled separately.

Preparing of water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to re-move all loose dirt/dust etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10.00 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface and providing premixed Asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix (using paving bitumen VG-30 grade), mix in hot mix plant using design mix laid with self propelled mechanical pavers rolled with 8 to 12 tone power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: Bituminous premixed shall be mixed in hot mix plant and premixed carpet shall be mixed in hot mix plant and premixed carpet shall be laid in single layer with self propelled mechanical pavers (SPMP) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing black top surface of road and applying thermo plastic paint on marking of 2.5 mm thicksingle coat a center line, stop line, side line etc on roads as per IRC pattern. Road marking of not exceeding 100 mm wide using hot mark thermoplastiv paint hot application) white or yellow by indineous modem propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredient such as binder, glass bends, titenium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter fillets etc. Thermoplastic requirment for glass bends shall be cofirming to BS-6086 of MORTH specification including spraying of glass bends etc. as per IRC-35 with and including traffic diversion arrangement complete all as specified and directed.
