REPAIR/ MAINT OF WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINES/ PUMP SETS AND ALLIED WORKS AT 2ASD KASUBEGU AND ALG AREA UNDER GE (EAST ) FEROZEPUR CANTT.

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5M wide and not exceeding 1.5M in depth for getting out in any type of strata complete all as specified and as directed by Engr/in/Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer in any type of soil all as spd.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5M above the starting point complete all as specified .

Taking out cast iron water main/Ductile iron/UPVC ( including all fittings) Bore of pipe 100mm. with spigot and socket ends including burning out lead joints and recovering lead , cleaning the pipe and removing to store for reuse of serviceable portion complete all as directed. ( Note :- Excavation & Earth Work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items. )

Supply, laying and jointing Ductile iron pipe of 100mm bore with spigot and socket ends centrifugally cement mortar lined complete as per IS8329/2000 class K -7 and including suitable tyton joint and jointing material / joints laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed. Note:-DI specials and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L DI /CI Specials like Bends ( any type radius and angle) tapers any type, Tees branch single piece all sockets spigots collars,caps plugs ,tail piece etc of size 100/80 mm dia.

Taking out Old U/S rusted/Broken Galvanised iron water main GI pipe of dia 80mm ( including all fittings) cleaning the pipe and removing to store for reuse of serviceable portion if any complete all as directed : Note :- Excavation & Earth Work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

All as per Item No 7 here in before But of Bore of pipe 50 mm.

Supply and fixing Sluice valve for 150 mm dia pipe ISI marked flanged type, class PN 1.6 with Stainless steel spindle, necesary bolts & nuts of suitable size with and including rubber gasket for flanged joints and testing complete of following sizes all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing CI Non return valves for 100mm dia pipe ISI marked, flanged type class PN 1.6 with necesary bolts & nuts of following size with and including rubber gasket for flanged joints and testing complete of following sizes all as specified and directed.

Taking out old U/S stop valve/ Gate valve any type any size

Supply and fixing UPVC globe/gate valve for 50mm Dia pipe ISI marked with and including jointing materials complete all as specified and directed

M&L Cutting/Welding to GI pipe line 50/40 mm bore joints to sockets or flanges on both side complete all as directed at site by Engr in charge.

M&L Repair / Replacement of MS sheet cover not less than 3mm thick with handle and locking arrangement and painting with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface including welding suitable for valve pit 105x105x120 cm,90x90x90, 60x60x90 cm or any size as reqd all as directed at site by Engr in charge.

Dismantling/reparing/welding the existing CI/MS pipe line 200/150/100/80mm bore joint by welding or replacing rubber packing or worn out nuts,bolts and washers inluding replacement of sluice valve of 150 mm/100mm/80mm dia size as reqd of any make provided vertical in rising /supply/overflow washout of overhead reservoir by means of all required T&P like lifting jack for holding the vertical pipe , scaffolding etc Note : (i) All type of T&P required for work is deemed to be included in the quoted rate) (ii) Sluice valve 150mm/100mm/80mm dia will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Sch.

Cleaning the Over Head Tank cap 50000 gallons (twin or single chamber) by draining the complete water and brushing the surfaces with iron brush and removing the complete mud/silt and getting washed the complete inner surfaces of the tank and writing date of cleaning the tank all as specified and directed by the Engr- in-charge. Note :- All type of T&P required for cleaning deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L cleaning of valve pit chamber of size 1.2m x 1.2 m x 0.6 m with sluice valve, pipes etc including replacement of existing wornout/defective gland packing, nut, bolt & washer, etc with new one to make the sluice valve perfectly leak proof of complete all as required and directed

All as per item No 37 hereinbefore but of size 0.9m x 0.9m x 0.6m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Painting of rising main,Delivery, wash out, overflow line of OH reservoir 100/150/200 mm dia bore pipe by scraping, dust cleaning body by wire brush and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of standard colour as approved by Engr-in-Charge and forming the arrow showing direction of water flow all as specified and directed. Note : All T&P required for painting the pipe lines is deemed to be included in unit rate.

Supply and fix Cast iron Air Valves with two air outlet 150 mm dia fixing up in water supply rising main Ductile Iron /CI Pipe, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F Submersible cable PVC of copper conductor of size 16 sqmm 3 core of required length from panel to star delta starter and motor of Submersible pumping set installed complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground) as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in paving/footpath and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement and making impression of expanded metal, whilst the concrete is green complete all as specified and directed

S&F GI tubing of medium grade 65mm dia (3 mtr long) to each hand pump machine in replacement of length and lowering the pipe in bore hole after joining with 32mm dia pipe providing GI reducer 65x32mm all as specified

S&F GI tubing medium grade 32mm dia approx 10 mtr long piece in replacement of length and lowering the pipe in bore hole all as specified and directed

Supply and lowering starter slotted type made out of 32mm dia GI pipe medium grade of length 1.5 mtr long along with MS plug welded at the one end of the strater

Supply and fixing on the strainer of the filter PVC net cloth of size 1.5mtrx0.75 mtr to prevent the passage

Dismantling existing hand pump and its accessories such as hand pump machine, handle, suction box and taking out GI pipes and stainer etc from under ground hand pump bore well and Servicing,cleaning the hand pump,assembling testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in position after replacing the Gun metal sleeves of 65/30mm threaded on both sides complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in position after replacing the Non return valve as suitable along with rubber washer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in position after replacing the Steel connecting rod 12 mm dia 5 mtr long incl connecting socket and "U'' clamp nuts bolts and washers etc along with rubber washer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in position after replacing the GI suction valve complete with PVC washer(Heavy Duty) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in position after replacing the Head assmbly complete with clamp hold fast handle nuts bolts and washers GI pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

Attending emergency breakdown of water supply installations where directed, Lifting defective submersible pumpset, column pipes (any number) from bore well, setting aside and stacking column pipes for reuse, lowering of submersible pumpset with column pipes in the bore well as existingand making water and electrical connections as existing for running of pump motors complete all as directed. Note: (i) lifting /lowerig shall be measured and paid only once for same nature of repair. (ii) In case the Submersible Pump Set falls down during Extn/Lowering the same shall be Extracted by contracter at his own arrangements and nothing extra from the department shall be admissible on this account what-so-ever.

Supply only New Rubber gasket to be used for Submersible pump column pipes fixing as per existing dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only New Nut and Bolt & washer used for Submersible pump column pipes Fixing as per existing dia and length complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to submersible pumpset of capacity 30-35 HP 3 phase, 415 volts involving the following operations : (a) Opening of the defective motor in MES yard/ workshop, cleaning the covers and parts as applicable in presence of Engineer in Charge to ascertain the quantam of defects and repairs involved. (b) Transporting the defective motor to contractors workshop for repairs as directed by the Engineer in Charge and carrying out the needful repairs including replacement of defective unserviceable parts. (c) Assembling the motor after repair. (d) Transporting the repaired motor to MES yard/ workshop and carrying out necessary test in presence of Engineer in Charge to establish the functionability of the repaired motor up to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

All as per item No. 58 here in before but for submersible pumpset and motor of capacity 5-7.5 HP all as directed. Note for item No.58 to 59 above: (i) Any parts required to be replaced during servicing, overhauling of motor, pump set etc shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item as "Supply only" of this schedule. However labour element involved in replacement is deemed to be included in quoted rates against this item. (ii) Any minor repairs involved to make the motor, pump functional even if notified by the Engineer in Charge shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. (iii) Rewinding of stator of motor, any machine to pump where involved shall be measured and paid separately against relevant item of this schedule. (iv) Greasing/ oiling etc of parts as required shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Supply only Water lubricant seal suitable for motor of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Bowl assembly as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only T bolt for motor as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Thrust bearing for motors as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Stud Ring set as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Neck ring as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Stainless steel key for impeller shaft of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Impeller CI/Bronze type as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Stainless steel motor - pump coupler as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only bush for pump as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Supply only Bushes to motor shaft as per existing of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Repair to Impeller by brazing or as required of submersible pumpset of cap 7.5 HP to 35 HP .

Rewinding of stator of submersible motor pump working on 3 phase 415 to 440 V volts of capacity 30 HP-35HP with water proof insulated copper wire of existing gauge and size to achieve the specified / required RPM including taking out old unserviceable winding complete all as specified and directed.

Rewinding of stator of submersible motor pump working on 3 phase 415 to 440 V volts of capacity upto 7.5 HP with water proof insulated copper wire of existing gauge and size to achieve the specified / required RPM including taking out old unserviceable winding complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of defective centrifugal sewage motor complete of capacity 3 HP to 5 HP by removing cable connection from LT panel and taking out carefully, transporting to repair workshop for repair. Reassembling after repair and testing, transporting back to sewage well re-installation by connectiing electric cable to LT panel and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) The cost also includes for making stand by arragnment to avoid any type of breakdown by putting standby motor/pumpset all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii)Minor Items costing up to RS 300/- i.e gland packing, Nuts bolts , insulation tape, Rubber seal, Hozing bushes etc required are deemed to be included in unit rate of above item. (iii) spares parts required for repair will be measured and paid under relevent item of Sch 'A' as supply only. (iv) Labour required for dismantling the defective pump set for removing of defective spare parts and re-assembling after fixing new spares are deemed to be included in unit rate of above item. (v) Contractor will send his rep to E/M yard after getting complaint. Contracter will rectified bottelnecks with in 48 Hrs if fail for any reason, a fine of Rs 500/- per day shall be recovered.

M&L for rewinding of centrifugal electric motor cap 3 HP to 5 Hp with super enameled copper winding wire emake HTP/Devi Dyal of size/ gauge after providing 'F' class insulation material and varnishing complete all as specified. Note : Contractor will give Warranty of rewinded motor for at least 3 months minimum.

Supply & fixing Sewage PVC Flexible Hose pipe (soond pipe) 100mm mm all as per specified and directed.

M&L for Testing portability of water by chemical analysis such as PH Value, dissolved solids, hardness as CaCo3 and Calcium, Magnesium, Chlorides, sulphate, nitrate, alkality, Iron Turbidity NTU, mineral oil, colour hazen units, taste, odour, residual free chlorine, total Coliform per 100mm (microbiological test) and E Coli as per 100ml (microbiological test) as well as bacteriological portability from any govt lab complete all as specified.

M&L for Testing of Untreated Effluents of STP Sample by obtaining samples from STP in 5 ltr approx plastic can and submission of Phsiochemical Analysis Report with all parameters i.e PH, TSS, BOD,COD etc complete from approved agency/ laboratory all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

S&F Electric Shock & it's Management/ Fire order/ SOP Chart (Star HD Flex) showing the Effects, Management, Precautions against electric shock of dimension (90cm×60cm) fixed on Iron square bar Frame (90cm×56cm×2cm) welded together at each end screwed with 2 Hooks for fixing on the wall complete all as specified and directed.
