Construction of Bituminous road from Sarah Tamang house to Amber Tamang house

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sand stone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1.500 mm.

Laying 150 mm. to 200 mm. boulder soling including rough dressing hand packing and ramming down small pieces in the interstics without rolling but including ramming.

Cost of stone boulder 150 mm size delivered ans stacked at site.

Ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttring and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.(b) River bazree.

Hire and labour charge for shuttering with centreing and necessary staging up to 4 m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thick ness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams, columns, lintels curved or staight including fitting fixing and striking out after complection of works. (up to roof of ground floor). (a) 25 mm. to 30 mm. thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of the Engineer-in-charge. .

Plum Concrete work with 40 % Cement Concrete with 30 mm down graded stone metal and 60% stone boulder of size 150 mm and above, placed in position as directed excluding shuttering if any.(i) (1:3:6) proportion.

Water Bound Macadam Base Course, Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness,hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnesin stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate,watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting orfilling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H(5th Revision).Grading-II Aggregate (53 mm to 22.4 mm) Using Stone Screening Type B (11.2 mm)

Prime Coat Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS:8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including costand carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H(5th Revision).

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS:8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete asper Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Open Graded Premix Surfacing with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion using 13.2 mm (@ 0.018 m3/m2)and 11.2 mm (@ 0.009 m3/m2) size stone aggregates,premixed with Cationic Bituminous Emulsion (M.S.grade) conforming to IS : 8887-1970 @ 21.5 kg per 10m² of surface, including cleaning, moistening thesurface, applying tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion, screening, cleaning and washing the stonechips, intimately mixing with emulsion using Concrete Mixer, laying the mixture uniformly over the surface and rolling with power roller after hand packing and pinning adequately to ensure a compact surface all complete as per specification and direction of theEngineer-in-charge including cost and carriage of stone materials and emulsion, including cost of labour, hireand running charges of road roller and other tools and plants and cost of all other incidental charges includinghire charges and cost of fuel and lubricants
