Notes for item No. 1.00 to 1.36 :- (a) AC plant installed at NDC comprising of following equipments :- (i) 03 Nos- screw type compressor and chillers each of 90 TR capacity TRANE make model No ERTWA-211 having semi hermetic sealed compressor, shell and tube type condenser with microprocessor. (ii) 03 Nos-Condenser pumps 7.5KW/10HP capacity. (iii) 03 Nos - Chilled water pump 7.5 KW/10HP capacity. (iv) 01 No-FRP cooling tower with 5 HP fan motor. (v) 03 No- AHU of 7500 cfm, 8600cfm & 8800 cfm capacity with chilled and hot water coil, blower fan and motor, humidification package and the panel etc. (vi) 01 No -Hot water generator 285 KW capacity with its control panel. (vii) 01 Lot- Condenser water pipe line of size 150 mm to 50 mm dia including butterfly valves, NRV, Y strainer etc. (viii) 01 Lot- Chilled/hot water pipe line of size 150 mm to 50 mm dia including butterfly valves gate valves 3 way diverting valves and balancing valves. (ix) 01 No - Control desk for controlling 3 hrs AHU's installed at dinning hall, lecture hall, library and including cabling upto AHU's and equipment. (x) Main panel for operation of chillers condenser chilled water pumps & cooling lower incoming ACB panel 400 amps including its cabling upto equipment. (xi) 01 No- Make up water tank 500 ltrs capacity with connected pipe line for chilled/hot circuit piping.

Notes for item No. 1.00 to 1.36 (contd..) :- (b) Special shift shall be arranged on specific days instead of 2nd shift on requirement basis an intimation to this effect shall be intimated to the contractor well in advance for AC plant installed at NDC . (c) The contractor shall quote the rates for deputing the manpower and reliever arrangement as per existing labour rules. (d) In case any breakdown, the additional manpower if required will be arranged by the contractor. The cost will be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (e) The contractor shall carryout daily routine checking of the complete system and rectify the minor/major defects noticed immediately cleanining of fine air filter once in two week and making a maintenance register to above maintenance and filler cleaned system one separate register to be maintained as complaint register received from NDC and taking signature from users after rectifying the defects if any, the contractor will arrange to clean all the grills/ducts on regular basis with vacuum cleaner & other. (f) The contractor will maintain a daily temp record book of the each AHU area room and daily signed by contractor and engineer-in-charge.

Comprehensive and preventive maintenance of equipment as spelt out in Srl No. 1.4 here-in-before including replacement of all worn out/defective parts as and when required/detected i.e. Bearing shafts impeller. Cables fins of CT, HW generator parts. Heating coils switches fuses indicating lamp, valve etc including T&P required for repair and transportation if any part required to take to workshop for repair. Note for item No 2.00 ;-Materials required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant 'supply only' item of BOQ . Balance items required for rectification of faults/defects if any shall be inclusive of rates quoted and shall also include fixing/filling/laying charges of items supplied in BOQ.

M&L for rewinding only of electric pump motor 3 phase 415 volt 7.5 KW /10HP with existing size of winding wire with super enamelled copper wire complete all as specified & directed .

All as per item No 3.00 here-in-before but of AHU 3 phase 415 volt 50 Hz 5 HP complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for painting of plant, pumps, panels, cooling tower, GI pipe line, water line etc complete all as specified and directed .

Supply & installation of cross linked closed cell thermal insulation of 30 mm over chilled water pipes of any size thermal conductivity of insulation would not exceed 0.038 w/mk at 400C. Material is fire retardant & self-extinguishing and certified class 1 certified as per BS 476 part &. It is CFC free. On combustion it would not emit HCN NO+ NO2 and SO2 + H2S gases. Smoke generated would be lighter than air and white in colour so as to allow easy exit passages in case of fire. Thermal insulation would be protected by thermal insulation protective coating of aluminium sheet not less than 0.30 mm thick in short length complete all as specified and directed.

Comprehensive and preventive maintenance of for 03 Nos screw type chilling plant each of 90 TR capacity Model ERTWA-211 having semi hermetic sealed compressor, shell and tube type condenser with micro processor in including material and replacement of all parts pertains to above model chiller, the contractor will ensure that M/S Trane is liable to give per month preventative maintenance visits and also on call on requirement basis as and when required.

NOTE : Descaling with chemical overhauling of condensing pumps & replacement of siphon with gauge of AHU

All the parts pertaining to 3x90 TR chillers model ERTWA-211 Make-Trane should be supplied and replaced by M/S Trane. The cost of parts shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. No extra payment shall be made on this account.

Contractor is to act promptly on call and any complaint shall be attended with in-02 (Two) hours as the area is very sensitive and delay is not acceptable.

The contractor will maintain the temp & humidity as under :- Inside condition Library room, dining hall Other area and lecture room DB Temp 72º F +4º F (22º C + 2º C) 75º F + 4º F(24º C ± 2º C) RH 55% ± 5% 55% ± 5%

Descaling of condensers shall be carried out by contractor through M/s Trane before on set of summer season.

T&P required for comprehensive & preventive maintenance shall be provided by the M/S Trane it self.

Comprehensive & preventive maintenance shall be carried out at site NDC irrespective of distance.

Spectro chemical oil analysis and oil replacement shall be carried out by contractor through M/S Trane in the beginning of the contract and after every year.

In case need arises to the change the compressor as a whole due to any defect M/s Trane is to inform the department well in time to avoid breakdown.

The contractor to ensure the parameters of different component of central AC plant on a checklist at fortnight basis with suitable instrument

NOTE : Instruments needed for all type of testing will be supplied by the contractor and rate for the same to be included in the quoted rate.

Labour for checking and attending complaints of ACs, water coolers, Refrigerators etc of any capacity, rectification of minor defects and make the equipment fictional complete all as directed.(any parts required for replacement shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of BOQ/Sch 'A' as "Supply only") .

Servicing of Window/split type AC 1.5/2/3 Ton capacity of any make / model by taking out the AC, Cleaning of evaporating coil, condensing coil with water & brush to remove dust including cleaning of filter, greasing oiling of fan motor and checking of electric circuit for smooth functioning of AC (unserviceable spares required to be replaced shall be measured & paid for "Supply only" separately under respective items.

(a) All the parameters given above, record should be submitted by the contractor within first month of the contract. (b) Removal o insulation of chiller unit and flow measurement by ultrasonic flow meter in chiller pipe line and measurement of electrical parameter like voltage Amp etc by power analyser. (c) Reinsulating of removed insulation areas with insulation patches of all chiller units. (d) Submit the actual efficiency by calculating 3 mean value/average for chiller unit of Central AC plant.
