Cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work in footing, strips, foundation, rafts, pedestal and approach slabs of bridges etc. but excluding steel reinforcement and including centring and shuttering, laid in position, complete in all respects. (for work upto 1.5 Mtrs. below ground level). (HSR. 10.90 + 10.95 (a)).

First class brickwork laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in first storey upto 4 meters above plinth level.(HSR.11.9)

15 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 on the rough side of single or half brick wall (HSR.15.10)

Applying priming coat with cement primer in all shades on newly plastered or concrete exterior surfaces. (HSR.16.25)

Preparation of plastered surface for oil bound distemper including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil, and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk miti including finishing the surface to the required finish complete (HSR.16.52)

Providing two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint complete (HSR.16.79 b) 1st quality.

Wrought iron and mild steel ladders, framed grills, gratings etc., with ends of bars rivetted or forged framed window guards, barred iron doors, etc., including fixing in position. (HSR.18.10)

Fe-500 EQR TMT steel bar for R.C.C. works, where not included in the complete rate of R.C.C. including bending, binding and placing in position complete. (Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diametes as actually used in work, excluding overlaps. From hte length so measured, the weight of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS: 1732. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing, shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement). (HSR 18.22)

Providing & Fixing of M.S Fencing with Angle iron 50 x 50 x 80 with welded mesh complete as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge .(N.S)

Note;- in case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items of Civil , PH and EI depicted in this DNIT and that given in the HSR, The unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable
