Excavation for roadway formation by manual or by mechanical means or both, in all kinds of  soil, earth mixed with boulders, ordinary rock, soft rock, and hard rock without blasting or with controlled blasting or any alternative methods (various techniques may be employed such as drilling, blasting, or breaking by heat & cool method or using rock cutter/rock breakers or by chemical cracking agent or using a hydraulic rock splitter or by a combination of all or by any other breaking/splitting technique) including cutting, and trimming of bottom and side slopes  in accordance with the requirements of lines, grades, and cross sections, and loading in tippers and disposal of cut materials & debris with all lead and lifts complete as per  specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of side. Ordinary soil (i) Upto 3 m depth
