Excavation in foundation and trenches up to all depths and in all classification of earth work such as Pick work, Jumper work, chiselling or wedging out of soft and hard rock as blasting is prohibited, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, including cutting of bitumenous/concrete surface wherever required, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting , planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material /soil seperataly and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes (for pipes, Pipe duct, chambers, x-sings etc.), returning the usable soil in 15cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/ lifts and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Pdg, Laying,Jointing and Testing in trenches Galvanized mild steel flanged/butt welded pipe of below mentioned dia and grade conforming to IS 1239-2004 (with latest ammendments The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to 6392-1971 ( Latest uptodate ammendments) and welding of M.S. flanges with pipe as per IS: 816-1965 with electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nuts and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 27121-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in three layers in each face to make the joints leak proof including all kind of specials such as bends of all degree to be made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube and to the entire satisfaction of enginer-in-charge. The pipes end should be bevelled suitable for butt welding. The circumferencial butt welded joints ( 95% of the total joints) by electrical arc welding to following dia & class pipes,welding of pipes to be done in three layers to make the joints leak proof and to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS- 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5 mm to 6.3 mm of Advani oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects and including DPT test for joints & manual/mechnical handing of pipes. The laying of pipe shall confirm to BIS-5822 (with latest ammendments uptodate), including all kind of specials such as bends of all degree to be made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube within all leads and lifts. ( Earth work in trenches, M.S. flanges and butt welded joints to be measured and paid for separately) 150mm dia (H)

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of galvanized MSERW flanged pipes excluding cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO 3183-2012 Grade L290 or X 42 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m - 6m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick sas per IS: 2712-1965 & 95% butt welded joints by considering minimum three layers. Providing and welding M.S. flanges @5% at suitable point, conforming to following tables as per IS: 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end GMS/MSERW pipe in three number (2 outer and 1 inner) of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of MSERW pipes to be measured and paid for seprately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satifaction of engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Submersible Pumping Machinery :- Providing and installation of suitable submersible pumping set of KSB/ Calama/ Johnston/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar/WPIL make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty point head. All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type compatible for automation based on SCADA. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. Providing and fixing wire gauge shutters using galvanised M.S. wire gauge of I.S. gauge designation 85 G. with wire of dia 0.56 mm for doors windows and clerestorey windows including bright finished black enamelled iron hinges with necessary screws in all leads and lift to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. 2nd class deodar wood 40mm thick.

Providing and fixing of angle iron door, window, clerestory windows manufactured from MS angle iron section of 40x40x6mm thickness including hinges jamb, lock, jamb, bead and if required angle threshold of mild steel angle 50x25 mm welded or rigidly welded by mechanical means, lungs withsplit end tail to each jamb i/c. steel butt hinges 2.5 mm thick with provision for locking arrangement & shock observer as specified & applying a coat of approved steel primer after pretreatment of furface within all lead and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing rolling shutters having width below 3.5m of approved make made of 80 mm X 1.25mm M.S laths interlocked together through their entire length and joined together at the end by end locks mounted on specially designed pipe shaft,with brackets side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push pull operation complete but excluding the cost of the top cover and spring complete within all lead and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge..
