M&L for testing results of old earthing using calibrated earth tester & submitting result to engr -in -charge complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30Ltrs) water mixed with salt (total 20Kg) shall be carried out one day before the testing & the cost of the same shall deemed included in unit rate quoted.

M&L for painting on wall with synthetic enameled paint of black colour of 300 x 300 mm size and writing work for earth test result with date & year with white paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) vertically, with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I connecting to earthing test. Testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type soil, earth lead connected to earth test point & to main switch board etc with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, test point, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded BT stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, internal surface of concrete shall be given 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded BT stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover, reinforced with 8mm dia deformed or TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12 mm dia round bar handle, GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh and 15mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe including provn of earth test point made of 50 x 5 mm MS Flat in 'D' shape 500 mm legth grouted in wall complete 01 x 6 mm multistrand PVC insulated copper conductor ( Green Colour) to be provided from test point to DB through 20 mm dia concealed non metallic conduit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Description as per item 3 above but using 32x6 mm GI earth strip as a earth lead & 40 mm dia light grade GI protection pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for item No. 03 & 04 (i) GI wire/strip or protection pipe 15mm/40mm dia upto 7.5 RM included the quoted rate. (ii) The qty above the 7.5 RM shall be measured & paid separetely

M&L for dismantling & replacement of unsv lightening conductor assembly made out of GI pipe light grade of size 50 mm bore along with welded flange, fixed on the RCC roof of the bldgs with drilling/making hole and provide fastners, rubber washer 6 mm thick of suitable size at one end & GI reducer socket 50 x 40mm at another end connected with GI pipe light grade of size 40 mm bore with one end GI reducer socket to connect air termination & connector for earth strip duly fixed with necessary fastners, nuts bolts & washers in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 45cm x 45cm x45cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) GI pipe 50mm (1.5 RM for each)/40MM (1.0 RM for each) & air temination shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items. (ii) Water leak protection has to be ensured, Pure Resin based Chemical anchoring system. (iii) Air temination shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items

Taking down and replacement of old unsv air termination single pointed Aluminium rod 20 mm dia, 300 mm long for lightening conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down and replacement of old unsv test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 200x200x30mm drilled and screwed for fixing in wall with necessary fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for overlap jointing of addl requirements of Aluminium strips by making drilling holes 02 Nos with brass/GI nuts, bolts and lead washers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing of porcelain insulator of required size not exceeding than 10 cm long with two nos hole each on both end for fixing properly with fastner, nuts & bolts on wall & roof of buildings for separated earthing stirp from building complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Water leak protection has to be ensured, Pure Resin based Chemical anchoring system.

Supply and fabrication of GI pipe medium grade of size 40 mm bore for erection of lightening conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
