SPL REPAIR TO ROAD, PAVED SIDEWALK AREA AND ROAD FURNITURE INSIDE ARC TRG AREA AND FAMILY AREA, ARC, HAPPY VALLEY SHILLONG UNDER GE SHILLONG

Excavating over areas not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material (excluding hard rock) exceeding 1.50 km but not exceeding 5.0 km and depositing where directed at a level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller 8 to 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013.

M&L for Laying and compacting for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM laid in two layers of 75 mm Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and directed.

M and L for applying a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70- 1.00 kg/ sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table- 500-3 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed .

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in bituminous macadam well rammed (including supply of bituminious carpet, binder and chhipping) and sealed with bitumen 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings, 6.3 mm size depth of pot holes exc 30mm and rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing and consolidating 75 mm thick premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM Grading-II) using min 4.5% VG 30 grade binder by weight of total mix aggregate gradation as per Grading 2 of Table 500-10 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 5 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified & as directed.
