Disconnecting, dismantling and strip opening of the existing air handling unit of any description and in any position and of capacity 3000 CFM for overhauling and servicing including taking out existing shaft, blower, drum, pulley and dehumidifier pump etc. of air handling unit, checking thoroughly the serviceability of the parts, dismantling the parts, fixing the serviceable parts in position, replacement of the defective/non-functional /unserviceable parts /spares, reassembling, commissioning, fixing in position and testing of the air handling unit on full load for its smooth and trouble free operation complete all as directed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only (ii) Remetaling & grinding of the crank shaft, wherever applicable shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' (iii) Rates quoted by the contractor shall include the cost of transportation of any part of the AHU unit to and fro approved workshop for their repair and alignment.

Supply only the following spares / parts suitable for Air handling units repaired under respective Sch ‘A’ for servicing / overhauling of AHU. (Note (i) Cost element of removing unserviceable parts, fixing and testing of the new items/ parts is deemed to be included in the respective rates quoted by the contractor under respective Sch ‘A’ item for servicing / overhauling of AHU. (ii) Contractor shall have no claim on account of variation in quantities of these items/non execution of any of the above items and contractor shall be paid for at as quoted rates only for the parts actually replaced.)

Disconnecting and taking out existing unserviceable liquid line valve of any description and in any position and supply, fixing and testing of new liquid line valve Teflon sheathed brass of size 5/8 “ complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : BAP/KIM

M & L for f Duct insulation for unconditioned space as under:- (a) Cleaning the external surfaces of ducts to remove dust & existing treatment mortar etc. and removal from site. (b) Applying a coat of hot blown bitumen grade 85/25 confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm on the external surfaces of ducts. (c) Providing & fixing 50 micron thick PVC sheet on the external surfaces of ducts with suitable adhesive as per manufacturer instructions. (d) Applying a coat of hot black bituminous paint of grade 85/25 confirming to IS-702 on the PVC sheet @1.2 Kg/Sqm & sprinkling dry sand on the surface while paint is still wet. (e) Providing a 2” thick layer of Glass wool all over the surface having density 24 Kg per cum (Make : UP Twiga/Llyod) (f) Providing Aluminum sheet of thickness 26 gauge over glass wool and fixed with aluminium screws.
