PROVISION OF EOT OVERHEAD CRANE TO NEW BUILDING NO T 1 FOR NAVAL WORKS UNDER GE P VASCO

Design ,Supply, Install, testing and commissioning of indoor type heavy duty single girder electrically operated traveling (EOT) overhead crane capable of handling 2.0 metric tonnes (MT) cap as per test IS Norms, suitable for 415 Volts 3 Phase, 4 Wire AC main hoist with centre to centre clear span not exceeding 15.0 metres and maximum longitudinal travel of 29.5 metres single girder type with necessary steel supporting structure and crab (Gantry girder will be provided by Bldg contractor) with clear hook height of 9.0 meters from FFL including floor operated moveable pendent control by means of push buttons with suitable variable frequency drive (VFD) independent of crab trolley position with protective panel with down shop lead(DSL) trailing cables and earthing ass as specified and shown in drawing complete with all accessories/equipments and painted all as per OEM specification

(a) Longitudinal travel shall be limited to 1.0 m away from the walls on both ends (b) EOT crane shall be provided with the following electrically controlled (i) Longitudinal travel speed 20 m per min (ii) Cross Travel speed -15 m per min (iii) Hoisting speed -3 m per min (c) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include provision of electrical wiring of suitable size in rigid metallic conduits concealed /fixed on surfaces from main switch/DB up to electrical control panels crane etc with suitable 04 pole MCB in existing TPN DB after control panel crane. (d) Clear span and bay length specified and shown on building are only indicative. The tender shall visit the site and ascertain exact span and bay length before quoting the rate (e) Gantry Girder is existing in the building (will be provided by Bldg contractor)

M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate 60cmx60cm x6mm thick buried directly in ground/earth pit not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to Gl earth strip 32 x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts and washers of GI earth strip protected by Gl pipe light grade 40mm dia all as shown in electric plate No.3 of MES SSR Part I connected to earthing test point testing complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note:GI strip 32 x 6 mm up to 7.5 m is deemed to be included under quoted rate.
