NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item. (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery.

NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis. (iii) make specified in BOQ will supersede to all.

Material and labour for preparation of plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of walls including brooming down or scraping down with steel wire brushes of smoke spots, moulds, moss efflocerent salts and treading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of white (lime) wash on walls complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix aluminium louvered ventilators of section size 50mm x 20mm x 1.50mm including 5mm thick frosted glass fixed in half portion & adjustable type louvers in full portion and stainless steel wire mesh fixed type on outside frame with necessary fittings etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair bevelled edges looking mirror consisting of 5-6mm thick fixed on wall /tile surfaces including necessary fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply and fix in repair Soap dish, any type, fixed to plugs with chromium plated brass screws complete all as per Cera Cat part No : F 5003107 or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair Bib cock long nose with wall flange and aerator long body cast copper alloy chromium plated fancy type with crutch or butterfly handle screw down, screwed for iron pipe or or brass ferrule for 15 mm bore of pipe complete all as per Cera Cat Part No : QT F2006152 , HT F3001152 or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick /stone walls built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for pre cast cement concrete solid block masonry with solid block of the grade C1 (1:3:6) set in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour in repair PVC interlocking wall panelling 5mm to 7mm thick of surface finish with natural wooden finish (in minimum size 1200mm hight x 300mm wide). Panel is to be fixed on framework with screws as in horizontal or vertical alignment to walls at every 750mm with centre & edge bracket in tongue & groove system on framework. if required the cavity of framework should be inserted with rock wool with 48 kg and 50mm density, along with all accessories including required flashing, U shape groove complete make and sample as approved all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for roller blinds fixed in repairs made out of polyester fabric with roller on top with plastic pully and lock as per design and type as approved by Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour wall paper / wall coverings to be made from Vinyl (PVF), coated with plastic, rustic metallic / natural finish / cork and mica finish / wall texture finish, to be colour fast and washable with dust repellent property, application of wall paper as per approved sample, including surface preparation and and application as per manfacturers standards complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
